Ever seen this show? It's on CBS at 9:00 EST Tuesdays, 8:00 EST Wedensdays. It's an American Idol takeoff with a heavy rock theme instead of pop. A new "supergroup," consisting of Tommy Lee from Motley Crue, Jason Newsted from Metallica, Gilby Clarke from Guns N' Roses, and the winner of this show will relese an album and then world tour. Here's a link to their website. Has anyone seen this show? They have past episodes on their show if you want to check it out. Dilana is the hot pick, and she's pretty good: but I have a few picks I'd like better. I lost all respect for Lukas when he did Coldplay. I think Patrice might come up from behind and be the "dark horse" winner: she's got a voice. What are you guys thoughts on this show? Or, what did you think of Season One with INXS?

I'm sad to say that I haven't been watching Supernova... I don't really watch TV during the summer, and I think it's kind of a cop-out they're making a new band instead of finding a singer for a preexisting one. But my mom got me hooked on the first one (as well as that season of "Big Brother", but that doesn't go here), and so you get my opinion on that:

MARTY SHOULD HAVE WON. I don't think this because I'm a Chicagoan, I think this because he was the best one. Him, or Jordis. Or maybe Suzie. Anyone but J.D.-he was my least favorite from the get-go. My mom used to say that they were making him sing his song from last week every episode because they were making fun of him. But apparently not...

Marty's band goes by Marty Casey & The Lovehammers now... the album has that song he wrote for the show on it (not that good a song, IMO)... more power to him.

I'm not going to watch this, simply because of the advert. It shows Tommy Lee in what looks like a girls bedroom, tearing up teddy bears and stuff saying "I don't have time for theis crap. I need a lead sing for my band blah blah blah ect." All it does is make him look like a little poser cissy boy. I mean, ripping up teddy bears: that really makes you look tough. Wait, not it doesn't, it makes you look like a complete poser.

I really liked Rockstar: INXS, but I only saw part of the first episode for this new one. Maybe I'll like it in a few weeks when the mediocre people have been weeded out. I just didn't really like many of the singers this time.
