Post subject:  Syd Barrett
Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett, co-founder of Pink Floyd passed away this past Tuesday at 60 due to diabetes.

Syd Barrett was the lead guitarist and vocalist for Pink Floyd during their first album, and partly in their second. He was an amazing pioneer to the music industry, and influenced many rock artists after him.

Rest in peace, Syd.

I was wondering which one of us was going to make this topic.

Syd led a very hard life. It's even sadder that he was known as the "Forgotten member of Pink Floyd"

I've heard all kinds of rumors about what would happen when he died. I've heard that they would release several albums of older stuff that they never released. We'll see.

The DID release Pulse on DVD (finally!!). I'm watching it right now, too :-)
