Um, no. It affects not gameplay, but game content. I think the two are both important. That noobspeak wasn't very nice.

I heard this hilarious thing online. It was a song sung by The Count from Sesame Street, but it had the word "count" bleeped as though it were a bad word. It sounded soooo wrong, but soooo hilarious.

The reagent potion names in KoL! Why were they changed? I don't think anyone can honestly say that the Wrath Serum (made with grapes) is a worse name than Philter of Phorce, that made you Phorceful.

Argh, forced alliteration SUCKS.

I'm sure someone who's been playing KoL for a while agrees with me.
No offence, but you've really been a nitpicker lately. Sorry.

Toastpaint on that.

On the subject of things that went from cool to crap (c2c lol!), Neopets is DEFINATLY one. They went from being cool and different to being some hypercute sellout.

I did not say that that was what you were doing ; I was saying that they are basically the same thing. Except in your way grammar and spelling is involved. :p

On Neopets I would have to agree - I don't know if the merchandising was a good thing to begin with.

Anyways, the first time I joined Neopets I had a hard time keeping up with it, such as getting Neopoints or being rich or winning competitions. So I cancelled my account. Someday in 2005-2006 I created another one, and lost interest in the whole darn thing in twenty minutes.

---

On another related note, this time regarding Cartoon Network:

Do I feel as if Squirrel Boy/Rodney is the same thing to Blooregard Q. Kazoo? I smell copycat.

Anyways, the only laughable thing I find about Cartoon Network nowadays is Billy and Mandy. Man, that show is pretty creative. Lots of kudos to Maxwell Atoms for an "odd trio". There's also the usual Ed Edd 'n Eddy and Foster's, but I lost appeal to them already. They're still worth watching, though.

---

Also, for Cartoon Network:

WHY?! WHY IS THERE NO SAMURAI JACK?! WHYYYYYYYYYYY

Shows I Miss from CN
Dexters Lab
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Johny Bravo
SAMURI JACK
DBZ (I guess that is under toonami)
DB
Not that other dragon Ball show. Goku is 60, and he could be in little league.

Good, new shows on CN
Fosters
Billy and Mandy
Ed, Edd, and Edy

New shows that suck on CN
Ben 10
Everything Else

Yeah, I sorely miss samurai jack. I think just Gennedy Tartakofsky just got out of the biz or something. Dexter's lab had a good run. Courage was a solid piece of cartooning too. The running use of part of the creator's last name as a brand is subtle and fun to see. And how about bloo being a copycat of a weakened ghost from pacman? WAKKA WAKKA.

Necromancy = Very yes. 'M srry.

Before I list things that used to be cool:
I'm fed up with all the fake anime the kiddie cartoon channels are airing today. Some kid who gets a part in an anime show. Some kid who can turn into aliens. Some kid who has to fight some insect things. x.x TAKE IT OFF THE AIR. NOW.

1. Neopets. It was fun in the early but not really that early days- 2003ish. Now it's overcommercialized and full of ANNOYING NOOBS. Adam and Donna don't even own it anymore. Some Viacom idiots own it and they've turned it into a scam to get kids to buy merchandise. The original petsite when they only had 40 million or so members was awesome, but now? *arglbarf* Neopets Premium. ZOMG I KAN PAI 500 BUXX A MONTH TO GET MORE RANDUM EVENTZ AND A NU BORED AND AN AVANAMRATAR! x.x Neopets Inc. denies hackings- even when we all saw Ad0 and Kaos and Infamous and Dupe Day and all that crap...seriously. Just admit you got hacked, you aren't gonna get killed. The boards are an abysmal pit of depressingness. dere r a lot uf chtspkrs an da rping bored is totalie iliterute. Blah.

2. Pokemon. This has been explained by 39543954 people before, so yeah.

Sorry for the bump, but...

Kids WB. They were pretty cool at first, but around when the short-lived (at least there) Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends came out there it started to go downhill, finally hitting rock-bottom when they took Pokemon out of their morning lineup and aired the horrendously-named "Like Wow There's So Much New Stuff My Eyes are Popping Out of My Head Saturday" (by the way, I didn't make that title up - sad, but true). The reason behind the "Like Wow" in the title was because that Saturday introduced the new show "Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue", in which, apparently, they strip away all the members of Mystery, Inc. except Shaggy and Scooby, majorily cartoonify them, make Shaggy sound like he inhaled helium, and give Scooby some Scooby Snacks that give him special powers that help Shaggy... basically they turned a titanic juggernaut of a cartoon with a massive fanbase into, basically, what A Boy and His Blob would be like if it were a cartoon (read: a gimmicky mess of useless jargon that rots the brain upon viewing). Allow me to quote someone from this very topic and say, "Oh, how the mighty have fallen..."

4kids ruin every anime they get there hands on.

Okay, listen, I am sick and tired of hearing people say that 4Kids sucks. THEY ARE JUST MAKING THE ANIME SAFE FOR KIDS. Heck, some of the dialog in the original anime consists of swears - if they left it as-is, all the soccer moms in the universe would explode and, if possible, sue 4Kids out of buisiness. I wouldn't like it, and neither would this guy from another forum. (Though I like the 4Kids spoof from the Fanstuff wiki [4Wimps], simply because it's so flexible, and it's fun to make up cheesy low-quality effects to replace the violent stuff, though I DO think it was a little far to remove the Cappy policeman's gun from Hoshi no Kirby - he never uses it, for Pete's sake!)

I think Loonatics Unleashed hit that bottom before the Scooby-Doo thing came along.

Although Coconut Fred made me laugh.

I havent watch the WB for so long, I stopped when they introduced a Megaman cartoon. AND IT WAS ABOUT BATTLE NETWORK. If you make a megaman cartoon, make it the more popular megaman franchises.

Battle Network is the most popular? Right now or out of all of the Megaman franchises? Because if its the most popular now, its HAS to be the most popular considering its the only Megaman franchise out. But if its the most popular franchise ever... I guess they could make a show. But I still dont like it as much as original Megaman... or Megaman X. Or Megaman Legends. Or Megaman Zero. Or that Megaman racing game.

On an unrealated note, I liked the new Star Wars movies. Sure they were not as good as the originals, but they are nowhere near as bad as everyone says they are. Well, at least I think that.
I agree. I thought that Revenge of the Sith matched the quality of the old ones.

YES! I know what you mean.

Um.. not that...I.. um..not like I watch..it, or....I HATE ELMO'S WORLD! IT ISNT THE SAME!!! I miss the old sesame street, with bill cosby and a few others. I heard about the star wars one, but I've only seen clips of it. I'll see if I can find it anywhere.

So, yeah. It's all digital these days. Not as much creativity on the part of the directors.

blah,
