Uggs. You know. Those hideous boots. I never got into that, and I hope the trend fades to crap FAST.

Conversely, I hope that Crocs (please know what I'm talkin about) never go outta style. I love mine.

Do you truly like those?

I personally think they're hideous.

Well, to each his/her own.

Nickelodeon is great!

And yes, I'm over 20. :)

Spongebob and The Fairly Odd-Parents make me laugh a lot, and Danny Phantom is good enough that I'll watch it if it's on.

But something that used to be cool and sucks now is... um... okay, I'm amazingly loyal to things I like. Can't think of anything that fits.

:)

Nickelodeon is HORRIBLE now. Sponge-bob and Fairly Odd Parents are OKAY. And you can't possibly tell me you like shows like...Zoey 101 *twitches violently* And you have to agree that Sponge-bob is now used mostly for advertising and marketing. Look up "Sponge Bob" on Amazon.

Duck Dodgers of the 24 1/2 century. I'm not just talking about the T.V. show, the original toon too. I loved the original, that and the Dodo one are my favorite toons. (I hate calling the bugs bunny-type shorts "toons", but I can't think of a better name.) The series, though, completely sucked. I watched it a couple of times, but I just didn't like it that much.

SpongeBob

Everything else is pretty much crap. And yes the SpongeBob merchandise has gotten way out of hand. I mean, SpongeBob Legos? No, just no.

Okay, to be honest, I don't watch anything but Fairly Odd Parents, Danny Phantom, Spongebob, and Jimmy Neutron (thanks Jman4ever for the reminder). I'm sure shows like Zoe 101 and Hannah Montana are crap... but having 4 shows I like isn't bad for a TV station.

JMan, the bad thing is that most of those shows are cancled(FOP, JN, DP...) or have a set date for their cancellation(which most of them have.)

Pretty sure Spongebob and Avatar are still in the running, though.

Avatar has cotinuity, so I doubt they'll drop it before the story is finished.

Hannah Montana is Disney Channel though, and interesting if only for the extremely bizarre segments at the end of each show.

She had to call Neopets, go through a ten-minute hold, a five minute thing where they tried to convince her not to cancel, ten more minutes of getting her information, and a goodbye. But she called at the wrong time: they billed her for another month because she called in a three-day-period of something. Never was there a company so money hungry that they made it THAT hard to cancel before Neopets.

I heard that The Matrix Online was hard to quit. From what I heard, there's no Number to call or anything On their site.

Yeah, I'm all over that. I love my Crocs. They are ugly, but they're the most comfortable, lightweight shoes in the whole wide world. And you can just hose them off if they get dirty. :)

I had that same problem with T-Mobile. Reminded me of that guy who found out how hard it is to cancel AOL.
My T-Mobile problems were from a wireless hotspot pass I bought in California. This guy was all "why do you want to cancel your account?". The pass was for a month (with bills recurring monthly). In Huntsville, I don't have a need for hotspot access in Huntsville, so I didn't need it. The guy kept asking me why I didn't need it, and then a bunch of "are you sure?"s. Gah.. I don't need the account, make it no more.

The only time I've ever had a good time cancelling something was a subscription I had to Entertainment Weekly. Surely you've been offered this before from Best Buy. "3 months free", they say. "OK", you say. After that 3 months is up, they are supposed to give you the option of purchasing a subscription. The problem is, the "default" if they don't get a response is "yes, charge my credit card $40 for 3 more months " (which is just slightly less than an annual subscription). I noticed a charge on my credit card and couldn't identify it. I found out what it was, then called E-W. They said that their policy was to assume that no answer meant "yes". Suprisingly, they've had a lot of complaints about this. They refunded my money and admitted their error. I hung up the phone, happy that I got what I wanted, but still kinda irked that they would do something like this (the little thing they gave me at Best Buy DOES talk about this, but it's in text so small that I didn't actually notice it was text until I looked REALLY closely at it.).

To toastpaint this, though.. I really think that The Simpsons ALMOST fits this category. It's not crap, by any means, but it's nowhere near the "cool" it used to be.

Dormar, I kind of consider Adult Swim a seperate network from Cartoon Network. I know it's the same thing, but AS is so different it's hard to remember. They're both in the same place, so I'm adding another one to "things that have become crap".

Adult Swim. Seriously. Whoever thought of Minoriteam and Moral Orel needs to go to the far side of the moon. I haven't come close to THINKING of laughing while watching either of those. Bring back Space Ghost, the Brak Show, Sealab (WHERE THE FRIG DID IT GO), and put Harvey back in the spotlight. I love Harvey Birdman.

Shows on Nickelodeon that are good, or at least halfway decent:
SpongeBob
Danny Phantom
FOP
and Jimmy Neutron

Avatar has a great concept. But they focus too much on "teh funnay". The same thing happens with Danny Phantom. Catscratch is hovering on "halfway decent" for me. I haven't watched Nick in a while because they have all those terrible live-action shows.

Shows on Cartoon Network that are good, or at least halfway decent:
Billy and Mandy
Fosters' Home for Imaginary Friends
Ed Edd n' Eddy (before they went to school, it was perfection)
I'll watch Xiaolin Showdown. It's not really bad...the good guys don't always win.
Dang, I can't really think of anything else...

But Billy and Mandy beats almost all of Nick's shows for me. The only one which contends with it is SpongeBob, IMO.

I love Birdman. Even the original cartoon. His Attorney at Law was great too.

To be honest, when I saw the new Superman movie, one scene made me instantly think of Birdman.

By the way, what the frig ever happened to that Justice League thing show? I loved that.

Whats wrong with using #s and stuff 4 abbreviations? I mean it makes it easier to type.... wtv...

The Redwall book series has gotten unreadable for me. I don't know if it IS because it has gone to crap or if it's just because about 2 years ago I read maybe 1000 of them in one (school) year...

Napolean Dynamite.

It was so amazing as just a movie.

Then they started selling all kinds of merch, and it got really annoying.

THE MAN RUINED NAPOLEAN DYNAMITE FOR ME. THANKS A LOT, THE MAN.

Ace, I remember staying up late one night and watching Space Ghost with my cousin. It was the episode with the infamous "Drivin' On Highway 40 In A Big Old Pick Up Truck!". Me and my friend say that a lot when we're in a car.

I don't think Avatar even uses those cliche sweatdrop faces or any of the others, too, which gives it some brownie points.

This has to be the biggest one: g4 Tech TV.

G4 Was a channel about games and technoligy, but now, they have turned it into a channel about pop culture? What's the point? There are dozen's of other pop culture channels, so why did G4 go and ruin Tech tv? As far as I'm concerned, Techtv was the best channel ever.

Until G4 took over. They fired many host, and canceled many shows. They destroyed some really good shows; Like, Filter used to be about a game countdown, now it's a "Greatest party of all time" countdown??? And what about Icons. It used to be an awesome look at gaming history; Now, It shows the history of famous people, and acters (and even porn sites) :-| ... And they went so far, as to replacing hosts of shows, with more attractive hosts. (We all miss Sarah Lane...)

They did leave some awesome shows, like X-play, Brainiac, and Reviews on the run, but G4 still ruined the channel

Thanks, G4... X-(

I second that. I miss all the GOOD stuff Adult Swim used to show. I'm watching MASH on Hallmark Channel now instead of Adult Swim. Good grief!

I miss shows like Dexter's Lab (which I hardly see on anymore) and Courage the Cowardly Dog. Powerpuff Girls... when DBZ was on every afternoon on Toonami with back to back episodes and repeated again later that night on Toonami's late-night block (before there was an adult swim).

Good God I'm old. I remember when there wasn't even a Toonami on Cartoon Network, there was some kind of Action block with Johnny Quest on in the afternoons... the new adventures not the old ones.

Cartoon Network kind of went from crap to cool and sliding back towards crap now.

I still use crap. People laugh if you say crud, and I don't like to cuss, so it's a good medium
