Xiolin Showdown isn't a Cartoon Network "home team" 'toon, though. It's originally from the WB network's nid's lineup. Watch Kid's WB in the afternoon and you'll see what I mean.

But I agree, XS is teh awesome. And the only really funny character on Avatar is Sokka, who's just kind of the mandatory comic relief--and Iroh is funny, but it's a subdued, subtle kind of funny. :P

Runescape. It used to have the cool idea. A multiplayer game you can acess from the internet. Now its so.... done.

Adult Swim. Seriously. Whoever thought of Minoriteam and Moral Orel needs to go to the far side of the moon. I haven't come close to THINKING of laughing while watching either of those. Bring back Space Ghost, the Brak Show, Sealab (WHERE THE FRIG DID IT GO), and put Harvey back in the spotlight. I love Harvey Birdman.

I second that. I miss all the GOOD stuff Adult Swim used to show. I'm watching MASH on Hallmark Channel now instead of Adult Swim. Good grief!

In Australia, we only have a few Adult Swim shows.

Comedy:
SGC2C
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
Sealab 2021
Harvey Birdman: Attorney at law
The Brak show
The Venture Brothers

Action:
Ghost in the Shell: The Stand Alone Complex
Fullmetal Alchemist
Inu-Yasha
Initial D

Those shows rule.

After season 6, "All That" went downhill fast. They had a younger, brand new cast, & the sketches quickly got predictable and repetitive. They even have a guy who only does the Vital Information sketch.

I whole heartedly agree with Ian, it feels like I'm watching the same episode over and over again.

Sketches like "Sugar & Coffee" or "Ernie the Puke Guy" are OK after A COUPLE TIMES, but doing them every single show is asking for it. And I can't believe "The Unreal World" was voted the best moment ever on the show!

Gah, recurring characters & sketches are fine, but only a couple times per season or so, like on SNL & MADtv.

I just remembered somthing else that went downhill, and yes, it's nick related. Now, I'm pretty sure we remember Rugrats, right? Well, back in the old days, it was one of the greatest cartoons ever made. But shortly after the 1st movie, the quality of the episodes started to decline. It then just went down the crapper after the 2nd movie was released(Although the first two movies were good.) I did like the special thats shows what the babies would look like as Pre-teens, that is, until they decided to make a show out of it. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

how come everyone is ignoring my rants? :-(

Doesn't anyone agree that g4 ruined techtv?

Quote:
This has to be the biggest one: g4 Tech TV.

G4 Was a channel about games and technoligy, but now, they have turned it into a channel about pop culture? What's the point? There are dozen's of other pop culture channels, so why did G4 go and ruin Tech tv? As far as I'm concerned, Techtv was the best channel ever.

Until G4 took over. They fired many host, and canceled many shows. They destroyed some really good shows; Like, Filter used to be about a game countdown, now it's a "Greatest party of all time" countdown??? And what about Icons. It used to be an awesome look at gaming history; Now, It shows the history of famous people, and acters (and even porn sites) :-| ... And they went so far, as to replacing hosts of shows, with more attractive hosts. (We all miss Sarah Lane...)

They did leave some awesome shows, like X-play, Brainiac, and Reviews on the run, but G4 still ruined the channel

Thanks, G4... X-(

I agree, totally. Heck, I remember back when The Screen Savers was hosted by one guy who was a wiry, 98 pound bespectacled nerd who overreacted to absolutely everything, and they actually showed solutions to PC problems. Then this older guy and his pals took the helm, and it became more varied, but still somewhat PC focused. Then Kevin Peireira (sp?), who I think was a co-host at the time, took over. The show branched out even more. I don't think it's that bad, but the old days still call to me, begging me to build a time machine so I can go back in time to that previous time in the previous past so I can relive the past in the past.

Hate Ed Edd and Eddy and Catscratch.

WORST.
SHOWS.
EVER!

Love Foster's and SpongeBob, enjoyed Pokemon until that horrid re-cast for the Tenth Anniversary special, "Master of Mirage Pokemon." Execs at 4K!DS were ROTFLTMFAsO on that one.

Itotally agree...I used to be such an addict. Then the ads came, and it became so unfriendly. A breeding ground for idiots.

As for the cartoon debates...the only thing I watch on CN nowadays is Billy and Mandy. I miss the good ol' days...Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls, Courage...I never really appreciated Courage enough. Guess I just wasn't old enough. But now I remember it and think it pwned, and really wish CN didn't basically toss their old shows into the dumpster.

Also, I used to watch Teen Titans, but it just...I dunno. It kinda lost its magic, became a bit too heavy. I know the comics were a lot heavier, but still.

Nick's a bit better. I LOVE Fairly Oddparents...it's such an interesting concept, and they've handled it well. I'm an Invader Zim fan too, but that's canceled so it doesn't count, and I watch Spongebob occasionally. *makes an Invader Zim fan cartoon, then buys a Rya shirt*

Licorice.
Not in a grand scheme, but when I eat it the first bite is "Mm that's good" but then after 3 or 4 more bites I feel like I want to vomit.

I wasn't able to watch G4 in it's "old days", and I don't get a chance to watch it often now. However, it's not a real good channel. The best show on there is X-Play, hands down. If G4 did infact focus on video games, it doesn't anymore. They only have a three-hour timeslot devoted to video games.

Actually, I have no idea what kind of demographic G4 is aiming at. It has video game stuff, but it also has stuff that has nothing to do with it...like that weird racing show. And the Man Show. Not to mention Fastlane.

In fact, Attack of the Show seems to try to reach out to all of them. It's like a news program. But somewhere along the line it fails miserably. I really don't like it.

Booooooooooooooooo!!!!! That stinks. I'd expect better from you, CT. In fact, I'd expect better from both of you.

Ah, whatever, it's no big deal, really. I bet a lot of people like all those actiony imitation anime shows too.

On Neopets: Meh. I just go there to chat with my guild and saved up NP for valuable stuff.

Here's another thing that went from cool to crap:

The reagent potion names in KoL! Why were they changed? I don't think anyone can honestly say that the Wrath Serum (made with grapes) is a worse name than Philter of Phorce, that made you Phorceful.

Argh, forced alliteration SUCKS.

I'm sure someone who's been playing KoL for a while agrees with me.

Well, obviously it doesn't affect gameplay at all and therefore it wouldn't (or shouldn't even) do anything. That's like going like this:

"zomg the big rock was changed to big greay rock hax im gunna boycottt kol now."

Toastpaint.
