I bascally live on Boomerang. Don't know if you guys have that over there, but it has good old cartoons like Scooby-Doo, Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, Yogi Bear, Wacky Races and He-Man. It's run by Cartoon Network, which I think is pretty cool.

On CN, me likey Billy and Mandy, Xiao Lin showdown, Camp Lazlo, Ed Edd and Eddy. Those play often enough, so that's cool. Out of syndicated shows, Samurai Jack, Dragon Ball (not Z), Cow and Chicken and Johnny Bravo.

On Nick? Not much at the moment...I guess Spongebob is alright. Syndicated? Zim, Beavers, Ren and Stimpy.

What about Kids Next Door? I mean, I like it... all the weapons and structures being made out of common items? Whoo.

Foster's is probably my favorite CN show at the moment. KND and Camp Lazlo are okay...

Back in the day I really enjoyed Dexter's Lab and Johnny Bravo.

Toonami Jetstream is showing two of my all-time favorite CN originals: Samurai Jack and Megas XLR. Megas was freaking awesome, because, well, I dig giant robots.

Joshua, we had a rant about KND and how it makes absolutely no sense(for a cartoon, even!) on Negative Day. Sure, it's okay, but it still makes no sense. For a cartoon.

What? The old Toonami host was the same Toonami host. It was Tom. He had a makeover though. I'm still trying to find pictures of old Tom...

Oh, wait, there was Moltar. Yeah.

(Crap.)

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that loved Two Stupid Dogs. I still replay those episodes in my head.

Samurai Jack is flippin' SWEET. It's actually kinda like Avatar. Pretty much anything by Genndy Tartakovsky is uber-great. Not only his action 'toons, but he did Dexter's Lab, too!

Samurai Jack is very sweet. I like the art work, how it was directed, and the sound/music co-ordination. Do they still show episodes on CN?

I also like Dexter's Lab and Avatar.

As for stuff that's on right now, Nick has crap.

Cartoon Network, on the other hand has some pretty good stuff like Foster's or Camp Lazlo.

As a kid, I didn't get cable. Just the 15-so channels. And that includes the 4 Spanish stations. So, I kind of missed out on the good ol' days of CN and Nick. I do get to watch some of the older toons, and I must admit, Courage is a good show. Jhonny Bravo also has its moments. And I also can't go for one Invader Zim episode without laughing at some point. I only got lucky with Zim, I just happened on it when I was at a relative's house in aught 4.

I only got the standard cable package last year, sometime when I was at Washigton D.C. on a school trip. I watch cartoons, though, but mostly the more adult-type.

Anyone up for signing a petition to turn Friday's into Club Retro? Basically, put on the old CN cartoons on. The only problem would be that it would go through the night, and I doubt anyone under 12 would want to stay up at 4 in the morning just to watch this 'toon which he thinks is garbage, but only because his mind was turned to garbage by some of the crap they show nowadays.

Yeah Foster's Home is extremely underrated. I'm a closet fan.

Ren and Stimpy was quite possibly one of the greatest things to grace Nickelodeon, that is, until John Kricfalusi got fired and Nick took over. THAT'S when they went overboard with the fart jokes.

You people are getting too old for cartoons, so it's normal for you to not like Nick or Cartoon Network anymore.

Well, I never really watched Nick much when I was younger, but I did watch Cartoon Network a lot. When they changed the logo and overall appearence of the station was when I stopped watching, because they had pretty much ruined the station.
Sheep In The Big City and
Courage the Cowardly Dog are two cartoons that I miss.

GAH! You used too many negatives there. If it's not normal for us to not like them, then it must be normal to like them, contradicting the first part of your statement.

Know what I hate? Teen Nick. They call it Teen Nick, but I have a strong feeling that it's actually market towards eight-year-old girls. Freakin' Zoe 101... In fact, anything involving Jamie Lynn Spears is crap.

I actually posted something like this in the Random Thoughts and Ideas thread, I thought it would be awesome if there were a TV Channel called Un-Cancelled! that ran all sorts of awesome cancelled cartoons. Now, for Nick and Cartoon Network...

Nick was all I watched as a young kidlet, and back then, they actually had some good shows. The cartoons that were the best were, without question, Rocko's Modern Life and Angry Beavers. A few months ago, I got to watch a sample day of the NickToons channel on my DirecTV thingy, and I watched it till 2:30 in the morning, wanting to absorb as much Rocko and Angry Beavers as possible. And I also really miss Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, and Pinky and The Brain, which ran on Nick, even though they weren't created by Nickelodeon.

Now, what does Nick have today? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Now, like most people, I used to like Spongebob, but I just can't watch it anymore.

Now then, Cartoon Network I didn't watching till later in childhood, but I remember Dexter's Laboratory the most. The 1996-1998 version was really good, the 2001-2003 revival was good, but not as good. I wish it still ran on Cartoon Network, and not just on Boomerang.

Now, Cartoon Network today has one of my favorite TV shows ever, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, which hasn't followed the sucking trend of TV shows today. Billy and Mandy isn't bad either.

I guess I'd go with Cartoon Network.

To be honest, I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. I liked that show. I wish I could see it again.

My good CheezNapkin, I must disagree with you there. You're NEVER too old for cartoons! Never! After all, do you not have a cartoon character in your avatar? :P I mean, in Japan, cartoons are for all ages (and frequently for adults or older teens only). Even silly cartoons. After all, Pixar's movies are silly and child-friendly, but doesn't most everybody like and watch them?

Invader Zim rocked in every way known to man.And at least four known only to grasshoppers.Spongebob is awesome, too, but the new episodes seem to be missing something. They're just not the same. All the other shows are crap in my opinion. As for Cartoon Network, Billy and Mandy is pretty cool.I can't resist a cartoon involving the Grim Reaper.Courage was probably my favorite cartoon on there when it came on.Ed,Edd,'n'Eddy is also very good.Camp Lazlo is terrible.I can't get through one episode without thinking that I'd rather be watching Teletubbies.Maybe this is how that guy on Newgrounds felt about Homestar when he made Homestar Hunt.My Gym Partner is a Monkey is okay. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. That new show, Squirrel Boy or whatever it's called looks terrible, but I can't judge until I actually see it.Now, back to Nick.Or TeenNick.I personally like Drake and Josh.I'm not sure why, but I do.Zoey 101, Unfabulous, and any of those other shows-I don't even wanna TRY and watch those. And that's all I can think of right now because I'm kinda tired.

I stopped watching Nick when I was 10. When I found out the origins of spongebob...*shudders* It was too much to handle. Cn stopped being good when they screwed up toonami, and took away the good shows like megas, Yu yu, kenshin, and others. Teh interweb p4wns Cn and Nick!

"Teen" Nick is horrible. The worst part is now, instead of only playing these shows on Sunday, they play them all the time. It ticks me off.

Cartoon Network (or rather, Toonami, or even Adult Swim) need to play Yu Yu Hakusho and Ruroni Kenshin again. Those were awesome series..es...

What i'm trying to say is, the reason most of you don't like Nick or Cartoon Network any more is because you guys aren't into cartoons as much as you used to be.
Of course now we have cartoons for adults, so they've changed a lot.

Someone said Yu-Yu Hakusho.

That was awesome. How the big jerk eventually became a good friend kind of reminded me of Yu-Gi-Oh because the same thing happened, but it was cooler in Yu Yu. hey stopped airing it for me around the time of that weird house thing controlled by the grudgy kids at school or something.....

I personally don't find Drake and Josh too bad. Better than most of the Teen-Nick crap.

Whoever decided to give Lil' Romeo his own series should get slapped upside the face. And then some.

If something is really funny, plenty of people will find it funny. But I'd like not to argue this anymore.

What, exactly, are the origins of SpongeBob that are so jibbly-worthy?

Yu Yu was pretty cool, but i liked when Toonami played DBZ daily.
Now before you throw full wine bottles at your computer screen saying, "F you firemarc and burn in animine hel!" (i dont know if you can say hel correctly spelled witout getting bleeped) that show had its good episodes and bad. But I liked it. Just the long waits throughout the episodes sucked. All the battle scence ruled!!!!!!! Oh, and Cyborg 009 was so good, because some of the episodes iloved real things, like when they went to Africa and it showed it was a poor country.
