Oh, oh I see. Err, that wasn't me, I thought it was the "List of Neologisms in The Simpsons" link. When I went and saw that category I never saw that.

So I was rocking out (and still am) and thought I'd look up some of music terms and equipment:

Breakdown*

Double Bass (sometimes known as a 'Double Kick')

China and Splash cymbals (both common during breakdowns)

*A breakdown is a place in a piece of music (usually punk, metal or a combination of the two) where the song slows to 4/4 time (regardless of how fast the song previously was) to give the gituarists a chance to play something more rhythmically oriented and is often backed by a simple beat by the drummer using the bass drum and a double kick, splash or china cymbal or a combination of the two.

In my public speech class we have to do debates and speeches of persuasion. I think for my main point I'm going to pie my opponent. Let's see them counter point that!
