Ahh, the Gizmondo... i loved thee well.... If the gizmondo was out long enough so the game Colors would be released, it would have sold....As for Evo: Phase one, seems like its either an Xbox 360 clone, or a system that is better, and cheaper than the PS3.

Ok Fanboys, let's not start a flame war here. Either knock it off or take it elsewhere.

Usually, there's a reason they don't get much fame.

I once got a unpopular Game system: The Sega GameCom. The first system to be able to go online. Has a touch screen. Can hold 2 carts. Has a built in Calculator and Solitare. Only about 5 games out for it. Frickin' loses all data when the battery runs out.

That system sucked. What the censorship were they thinking?

You mean Tiger game.com.

Yes, it did suck pretty badly. I do have, however, a sega gamegear. It had colors, and a backlight with a huge screen, and excellent games. It was way better than the game boy and lynx, which were about the same time.

The GP2X is awesome, in my opinion. If it had a marketing campaign in north america, it could easily become a quick iPod killer. GP2X also has all the development tools you need to make games, as well as play them. I was planning on getting one, but I have been saving up for a computer ($630). I wont be buying GP2X for another few weeks or so.

I never understood the appeal of the GP2X. It isn't as though it's vastly less expensive than any other current-gen handheld. And it isn't as though homebrew software (which is essentially all the GP2X runs) isn't available for the PSP or DS. And the idea of it becoming an Ipod killer is laughable, to be honest.

My favourite onbscure console is the Atari Jaguar, solely because of the vast wealth it has given Seanbaby to mock. Atari's last gasp in the hardware business, and the first 64-bit system (but not really).

They did *try* to make a video game console. Failed miserably though.

Wasnt that like... putting a Vinyl sheet on a TV as the same red and blue dots move around the screen?

well, in order to run homebrew on a DS, you need to buy alot of crap that you could do better without.
and for the PSP, you can only run homebrew on version 2.0 or the first version, and theyre hasnt been a downgrader to downgrade from 2.6, like mine was. besides, the only thing Homebrew on the PSP is good for is Doom.

I saw one. I can't believe how huge it was, it was like the gameboy pocket, only double the size.

Well, here it is.

The first video game console, predating Pong by three years.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnavox_Odyssey

It was accually powered by batteries.

My brother has one. We used to have two, but then one of them broke. Now we have one.

(good counting!)

That one doesn't sound that interesting to me, though.

Yeah, poor old Ralph Baer, people don't give him the credit he so rightfully deserves.
