E3Expo. Am I the only one who sees the redundancy of the new name? Electronic Entertainment Expo Expo? While I forgave those who called ATMs ATM machines, E3Expo takes redundancy to a whole new stupid level, this level being the fire level, with the flame jets you have to dodge, and the lava pits. |

Yeah. Slashdot reported something on downsizing it because the money spent by companies didn't really make the income worth it. However, I really don't think this is a name change. It looks to me like they still refer to it as E3 and that the real full name has always been E3Expo. |

*sigh*.... It's just a name, I don't want another Revelution/Wii thing again: "What the crap, Nintendo! The Wii? Are you retarded!?". It could be called "E3-Dowhop diddly doo shlappah clappah maffah whoogly a shing shong shamma lamma", I wouldn't care. But I'm not a gamer, so my opinion is probably invalid. |

Eh, E3 always had a nice ring to it. I can live with it being called E3Expo though. It's not like it's hard to get used to it. If they really are changing the name, then I don't really understand why, but it doesn't matter. |

It's not gone, it just won't be like it is now. Like, it won't be like a big huge gamer party, it'll be just an industry thingy. I think it's really stupid... and it dampens my hopes of someday going to E3. |

Yeah, I had always wanted to go. BADLY. And now, I just don't feel anywhere as interested. Of course, I'm right next to it, so I'd still go to one if I had the chance. I don't really mind the name chage that much. I'll continue saying E3. |

People, if you angry at E3Expo, go to PAX. If you hate PAX, then, well you never would have liked E3Expo anyways. They just changed the name. I'd say changing the name of a baseball stadium would be worse, because at least it's history. Well, if your angry at PAX, go to the VG exhibit. I found it in a museum. Not anything like PAX or E3Expo. They only changed the name. They didn't even change it, it's been like that forever! |

I thought it was always called the E3 Expo. I always wanted to go to an E3, mainly because it was the biggest video game expo around. But it would of probably been impossible for me to book a flight to LA or wherever at the age of 18 anyhow. The downgrading of the expo sucked at first, but I've gotten over it mainly due to other expos happening around the year. Plus, G4 has said that Nintendo's confirmed them being part of E3 '07, so I'm happy.
