Hey guys. Ok heres the dealio. After seeing the One red Paperclip dude im gonna try do the same thing. But exchange the paperclip for a small Bart Simpson figurine and the idea of a house for a Car. I got a few hurdles to overcome though. 1. No car to go anywhere so anyone that wants to trade has to be close or willing to travel or help me out with traveling. 2. No Webspace so im relying on a basic blogger page. 3. Really no idea what to do. 4. Im in australia. Anyone that wants to help can contact me by PM'ing me, emailing me on 5knuckleshuffle@gmail.com, or onelittlefigurine@gmail.com. Any help would be appreciated. Post ideas here so we can have a public discussion. The blog can be viewed at 5knuckleshuffle.blogger.com Thanks Heaps to anyone that gets involved. |

Hey, I heard about that. He kept trading and eventually got a house. That's pretty cool. Good luck, you'll need it. |

Pretty cool idea. You should video tape it, if possible. That'd be awesome. |

So.. wait a second. You're expecting people to spend money on travel or shipping just for the privilege of trading with you? Ah...hmm. Look, I don't want to pooh-pooh your quest, but the reason the red paperclip guy is successful is because he gets up off his couch, drives all over tarnation, and talks to many, many, many people in person and over the phone. I certainly want you to succeed, but posting on message boards and waiting for people to come to you doesn't strike me as winning strategy. |

I have an idea. Set up your own website or blog or whatever to promote your idea/track your progress. Then post a link to that in our Shameless Plugs thread. Just because I don't like the idea of a single thread on our forum devoted to this project. Good luck, though. |
