Does anyone have a game suggestions for the DS?

I am going to be purchasing one quite soon and am wondering what might be a g-e-w-d game(s) to get.

Thanks in advance!

Suggestions for the DS? Suggest games to you? Suggest DS games? I'm so confused...

Suggestions to you- Phoenix Wright, MKDS.

All I'm asking is if anyone knows any good games that I should get for the DS Lite.

Thanks though.

My top five games for the Nintendo DS are Mario Kart DS, Sonic Rush, Meteos, New Super Mario Bros, and Metroid Prime: Hunters. I'd suggest reading reviews for paticular DS games on either gamespot.com or IGN.com though, just so you can see certain games in-depth and find ones that fit whatever needs you have.

Thanks.

I was thinking of getting MKD, but I had already played my friends so much... it was getting repetitive.

I'll also see what my budget limits me to.

Thanks!

Try Pheonix Wright.

Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is the absolute best DS game ever. Animal Crossing is also good.

Maro 64 DS or Mario Kart DS are pretty good. Or Fifa 06.

Mario 64 DS is really good, as is Mario Kart DS. Some people don't like New Super Mario Bros (it's a tad short), but I think it's worth picking up.

Oh, I forgot another one of my favorites. Trauma Center: Under the Knife is also really good (though unrealistic for a surgery game). It gets hard near the final chapters, but it's worth picking up if you can find a copy.

Don't waste your money on Pheonix Wright. No replay value.
Get Castlevania, Mariokart, and Hunters.

Warioware you do NOT want to buy. No replay value what so ever.

Here are my top suggestions:

5. Mario Kart DS

4. Animal Crossing: Wild World

3. Sonic Rush

2. Advance Wars: Dual Strike

1. Meteos

And if your curious about a Mario game, then I highly suggest Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. It's my favorite Mario game at the moment.

Ugh. That's currently my least favorite of the Mario RPGs. Far too hard, far too linear. It's a nice pick-up, but I think Superstar Saga was vastly superior.

But that's just me.

1.New Super Mario Bros.: A fun game if you enjoyed the old Super Mario Bros. games.
2.Tetris DS: Tetris is always awesome
3.Mario Kart DS: The best Mario kart game yet.
4.Animal Crossing Wild World: A good time waster
5.Metroid Prime:Hunters: A good Wifi game. Single Player's fun too.
6.Meteos: A fun Puzzle game.

As for Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, I'm going to have to go with Acekirby on this one. It is currently the weakest of the Mario RPGs. Not only is it very linear, but Baby Peach crying has got to be the most annoying video game sound ever.

I'd suggest Animal Crossing and Mario Kart, seeing those are the only two I've ever really played. But I'd also suggest, if you're interested in Starfox, to go check out Starfox Command on the 28th. Unless you can shell some bucks to get it ported from Japan right now.

If you're into multiplayer deathmatch, then you definitely want Metroid Prime: Hunters. Even with only 4 players max in WiFi matches, the action is fast and furious. Stat-tracking is cool, too. The singleplayer game ain't too shabby either.

....Far too hard...
Wimp! :p I thought it was kinda easy, myself. Still, you're right, not one of the better Mario RPG games.

[s]Ace[/s] Someone totally needs to make a thread about Mario RPGs. Now.

Toastpaint to that.

Anyway, I'd say get MP:H, especially if you have a Wi-Fi connection. Fun stuff.

To Ace and Jman: Well, I liked it very much. Especially for the difficult boss battles.

Here's another good suggestions: Contact

Contact comming on September 19th. It's a very curious RPG.

Here's some information about it:

Things you WILL NOT find in Contact:
A dull moment.
Normalcy.
A guy with spikey hair and/or amnesia.
Dramatic monologues.
The same battles you've been fighting since the 16-bit era.

Things you WILL find in Contact:
Mokeys.
Cosmic terrorists.
Powerful attack stickers.
Fishing.
Cooking.
Humor.
Fun with Nintendo Wi Fi.
Deeper meaning of life. *
Costumes that increase your power and make you more fun to be around.

*results may vary.

Here's the boxart.

...Yeah, that last boss Sequence was ridiculous. Not really all that hard, but it took FREAKIN' FOREVER and it sucks to lose and start over.

I was literally fighting the first end boss for TWO HOURS STRAIGHT. And I had read the guide.

I agree with that!

It's currently my favorite game. Though Contact may compete with it.
