Okay, who LOVED this show??? How can anybody not?!? I've recently just finished watching every episode on YouTube.com and now I am really sad...

This show needs to be brought back to life.

I love Zim! I have the whole series on DVD, including some that were never aired.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I watched it a couple times. The pure weirdery didn't really appeal to me; I don't think it's my kind of humor.

Invader Zim was my favorite show while it was on T.V.
I watch it occasionally on that NickToons network, or whatever it's called.

I rated it as Flippin' Sweet, obvioulsy.

I only watched it now and then... but it was a awesome show. The girl character reminds me of the girl from Non-Sequitor. Did I spell that right?

Man, this show was the most awesomest thing on the Teleset EVER.But...now that I think of it, maybe I shouldn't have watched at such a young age...I think it's influencing me to be more evil lately...oh well. That's life.

Any-dag-ways, I voted "Flippin' Sweet".Because it is indeed flippin' sweet.

I liked it. It appealed to the darker half of my humor. I kind of thought it wouldn't last for long. I can't find the DVD's anywhere in town. Otherwise I'd grab them. Also if I had money I guess.

I loved it. Zim and Gir are up in "AWESOME CARTOON HEAVEN", running around playfully with Ren and Stimpy and a GIANT ROBOT!

It is sad to think that there is a 0% chance of it ever coming back.

I liked jhonen's outlook on life, how he would always exaggerate everything and make stuff appear worse than it was.

I actually named one of the characters in my flash saeries Jhonen. He is a tribute to all of jhonen's work, and he acts a lot like dib, but stupider.

As a side note, there are 2 other characters named missy and mike.

It's pretty good. But the whole weird thing, freaked me out. Ripping a kid's eyes out and replacing them with robot eyes... That really horrified me... I don't doubt that it's a good show though, I'll watch it if it's on, definately. Oh, that's the other thing. I've seen it like, twice.

Yeah, I don't think it will ever be on.

I have words to describe certain executives at nickelodeon that can't be said on these forums. Apparently, Adult Swim saw invader zim, and thought it was good, and when it got cancelled, they tried to buy it from nickelodeon, but nickelodeon said no just because they didnt want it to be successful on another channel.

They would have rather that no one benefits, than everyone benefits, and the worst part is that Jhonen has already announced that he doesnt want to have anything to do with television anymore. Or at least zim.

The only good news is that Roman Dirge is still active. You can see his new stuff on that site.

Flippin' Sweet.

It was so different than anything on Nick at the time and still remains to be like that to this day. Different is good.

The sense of humor didn't appeal to me when it first aired, but now it does. I love how Zim CAN take over the world(he ha saccess to a giant robot army) but he doesn't(he uses the robot army to punch Dib.). I love how Gir is carefree and is just along for the ride. I love how Dib is obsessive and has a big head. And I love how Gaz knows that Zim's an alien but doesn't really care about that or anything.

I have the first DVD, but it's all scratchy, so I'm getting the Boxset for my birthday(I hope, anyways.). In the meantime, I've been watching episodes on YouTube.

I want Jhonen and Rikki to make another cartoon series. It would be great.

Flippin' sweet, all right. What an awesome cartoon. I got the boxset last Christmas and I've watched every single episode a couple times.

Right on. That's one of the reasons I like Billy and Mandy a lot. Seeing a creepy type of cartoon with just as much humor is a refreshing change.

Of course, it had Richard Horvitz. And Richard is win. I still refuse to belive he would do...*shudder*...Squirrel Boy. That must be an imposter. Yeah, that's what that is.

:P

Yeah, that first thing kinda reminds me of all the times pinky dominated the world in 'Pinky and the Brain', even though he was the dumb one, and brain ruined it.

And about that second thing, it won't happen. Jhonen does not have enough room for creativeness in his work on TV. You will know what I mean if you ever buy JTHM, you will see what I mean.

I don't know what jhonen is up to. No one does. Roman is making his own comic, and like ace said, richard is being held against his will in a studio somewhere, being forced to do episodes of squirrel boy.

Jhonen's making a new comic, if I remember correcty. He told the people he was telling "not to laugh because it's about love" which is interesting.

O. Gad. I can't make it through thirty seconds of one episode without laughing at something. That kind of hilarity elps me through some tough days. It also goes well with microwaved water. ;)

Yes, but most people believe that it is cancelled, because it has been like 2 years since he mentioned it.

Oh, and some of you might find this interesting. Jhonen once wrote a script for an episode that involved having gir covered in blood (No one really knows the contexst of this). Nickelodeon told him that it was too graphic, so he decided to hide the image of bloody gir throughout the series in certain frames. It has a low alpha, so it is really hard to see.

I knew about that. There are more than listed, though, I think.

I once tried hunting for the Big Bad Rubber Piggy one and couldn't see it. Now I realize it's because of the extreme faintness....

Eh, I didn't like it so much. But I think if I watched it today, I would enjoy it a lot more.

I just learned that if Nick had canceled the show a few days later, the episodes "Invader Poonchy" and "Nubs of Doom" would be completed and therefore I would have 100% more Mini Moose in my life.

Gargle.

Zim is a bastard child of a show, really. A fantastic idea, but it suffered because it was aimed at 2-11 year olds. If they'd aimed it at adults, allowed one story per half hour (instead of 2 or 3, I forget what it is, haven't seen it for two years) and allowed the characters more time to develop it would have been a hell of a lot better.

As it stands it's good, but it is a wasted oppurtunity as it could have been great.

It's a cartoon.

That was on Nick.

:|

Anyways, I loved it. I wish it was still, for the lack of a better word, "alive".

Um...so?

Firstly, it's really just an animation. If John K. heard you call it a cartoon, he'd be unhappy. Possibly angry.

Secondly, yes, Nick was the problem. Nick forced it's crappy format. Get it OFF nick onto another channel. Again, oppurtunity wasted.
