Eh... It's terrible, and I feel really bad, but I have sort of mixed feelings about it... I mean, we all hated him, here in Australia. We always used to say that he would end up getting killed by some deadly creature, so there you go. |

I can't get over it. I mean, STEVE IRWIN. In a way, we all thought he was a character. This is just tragic. Tragic. |

Like I said, at least he lived his life to the fullest. I'd rather lead a life like his and die at 44 than just watch my life fly by and die later. |

Certainly. He died doing great things. But it's just so unexpected. |

This news was pretty much the only thing that woke my nephew up as I drove him to school this morning. He wanted to become a vet because of the Crocodile Hunter Diaries. This is definately very sad news. And especially with him having such young kids. RIP Steve. Didymus wrote: Well, as a tribute to the late Steve Irwin, I am reposting these sound files.

That's terrible, Steve Irwin was awesome. Even though I didn't know his actual name until a few minutes ago, he was still a great guy. He got me saying "Crikey". RIP, Steve. |

I saw this yesterday, and I couldn't quite believe it. When I went to his Wikipedia page, it was locked due to vandalism, so I thought it might have been a hoax. I guess not.... |

marzipan1 wrote: But I did admire him......... I don't want to sound mean, but I didn't. He spent his life studying animals without respecting their boundaries, amd constantly put himself in danger for the sake of ratings. It's no wonder he ended up getting himself killed.
