And my point was that it was illegal because it's UNHEALTHY. The term "eating disorder," if you haven't noticed, has the word "disorder" in it.
First off, I wasn't saying we should outlaw eating disorders--I was saying that it was good enough criteria over which to fire models, just as illegal drug usage is. Furthermore, this was based very much on Marshmallow Roast's statements that it's a conscious choice (like choosing to drink soda instead of water) and not really a disorder (like the ones you listed). I personally feel that it's more of a disorder, and it THAT'S the case, then the model should be forced by his/her employers to get professional help before any more damage is done, just as employers are used to doing when an employee has other harmful disorders.
