If you haven't gotten God's Debris then go to http://www.dilbert.com/ You can get it for free. If you have read it, what do you think?

Here's a direct link to the free download page.

For those not familiar, God's Debris is a philosophical/religious "thought experiment" in the form of a narrative by Dilbert creator Scott Adams. Wikipedia knows.

I read it a few years ago, and enjoyed it. Scott Adams is, of course, enjoyable to read. It's a very small book, pocket-sized and only 128 pages, so it's easy to read in one sitting. As Wikipedia points out, it's basically a rehashing of ideas that have been around for a long time, but Adams crafts it into a nice dialogue.

I gave my copy of the book to a friend a long time ago, so I might have to download it and take a look again.

I read it about a year ago... interesting ideas, but not much more, IMO. I don't think I agree with the idea that God is bored.

I have to say that the point that the old man makes about the fact that most people don't truly believe in a religion is very true. It made me question my faithfullness. I also agree when on pg. 34 it's said that "The advice to be yourself is obviously nonsense" All in all a great book if you want to see many ideas challenged.
