If you came here you probably know what this is.
This game is the main reazon that I am getting a Wii.

It is a Wii launch title but the GameCube one is coming out in December.

I'm really looking forward to this. It'll be my first Zelda game ever.

It's true. I never really had any interest in getting a Zelda game until fairly recently, and I never got a Gamecube, so I never played one. The closest I ever came was playing as Link in Super Smash Brothers.

He is a shepard, but the closest word that in the Japanese language translated to "cowboy". :p I thought the same thing when I heard that.

I had better not be the only one that thinks that Midna and Majora are one and the same, or at least closely related.

Looks absolutely fantastic!

However, let's hope it keeps its original Zelda attitude and won't fall into graphics or typical sword wielding fantasy mediocriness. After seeing that 30 min gameplay video, though, I'm sure that's not going to happen!

(Btw, Link was left-handed in that video!)

I watched that gameplay video, and I might have to buy a Wii sooner just for seeing that.
I'm still getting the MacBook first, though.

I'm excited for the day a Wii comes home with me.

I preordered zelda for my gamecube on amazon.com back in like february, and then for some reason, they dropped me... but it's probably for the best, because I probably WILL end up getting the wii just so I can play zelda on it...

I have to say that I am madly in love with my ds lite, and I carry it with me everywhere I go, even if I don't end up playing it at all (.. creepy .. ??).. but hey--

word!

That was the GameCube version, in the Wii version he is right-handed, because most people are right-handed so it will be easier for them to control it that way, they need to have an option to play right or left-handed.

They'd better have the option to choose which hand Link uses in the Wii version. Otherwise, to heck with the Wii version.
This time, you don't just push buttons. It wouldn't be such a big deal if you weren't a left-handed trying to control a right-handed person.

Yeah, but it's not being released until December, if I remember correctly.

Yeah, it always has, infact it was originally only going to be available on the GameCube.

I just heard that Link was not a lefty anymore, and he's back to being what he originally was- a righty.

I just have two words for it.

OH YEAH!

I had been waiting for that for a loooooooooong time. But think about it. 90% of the world's population is right-handed. Obviously they're going to tool the Wii controls so Link has the sword on his right side.

Yeah, it's really not that big a deal that he's deciding to be right handed again.
And Ace is right, When so many people are right handed, Nintendo needs to make a product that fits with the majority.
Hopefully for us lefties though, they make a left-handed option.
:p

Tell that to the people who wrote the page of complaints in the Wii Thread. ;)

Like I said, it is a big deal if you're a leftie trying to swing the sword with the Wiimote. So much for all the individuality crap promised with Wii, eh?

However, I read somewhere that there might be the possibility to choose between left and right. Please, please tell me this is true and confirmed info!

I'm 99.99% sure Nintendo is going to have a left-handed option for the Wii. They're not dumb enough to overlook an obvious thing like that. Plus, if they somehow had overlooked it, someone would have noticed it at E3.

Well, considering that a number of DS games have left-handed options, I'm guessing it'll all work out. I'm a leftie too, so I need that option.

ACE IS THE INFIDEL!
