I just got a 98 Chevy Camaro. It's silver with two black racing stripes. What should I name it? |

Big Ugly Car. Also, why are you asking a bunch of ten-year-olds what to name your car? |

Okay, why are you asking a bunch of humans with a slightly-exaggerated average age of ten what to name your car? |

By the way Damik, many of us are older than 10. Many of us are at or right near legal driving age. So please think before you post. |

You know, if you're saying that 10-year-olds would name it something creative, and THEN saying that many of us are over 10, you're kind of contradicting yourself there. |

Damik, quit being a smartass. Seriously, it's getting old. As for a car name, hmm... Dart? Sparky? ooh, I got it!! It's silver, call it Blade. |

I'm 22, and I don't name cars. But I figure that it will eventually, somewhere down the road (no pun intended), start giving you problems, as all cars do when they get well-weathered....and you might get angry at it. So name it Stupid, since in your anger you might call it that anyway. |

Good logic. It's hard to argue with that. When the car is young, your friends will think you're being quirky and ironic, when it'd dying, they think you're psychic for naming the car something that you knew you'd be calling it soon enough. |

That IF a ten-year-old IS creative a NON ten-year-old ISN'T creative is a logical fallacy... which means he's not contradicting himself. So cut that ridiculous, standoffish tone out of your voice and stop acting like you're better than him for catching his self-contradiction, especially because there was no self-contradiction. |

Name it Henry. No real reason. I always just thought Henry would be a good name for a car. >_> |

Hmm... naming a car... this seems like something I might be good at. Let's see: ...Ted... no. Let me start again. I'll even show my process! Step 1: I think it should start with "The". If you just give it a name even a cool one, there's always the chance of you being seen as some guy who names inanimate objects. But if you start with "The", it becomes a title! People are sure to impressed that you have a car so cool it can't simply be called a car, but needs its own special title. Example: The Mach 5. Obviously a cool car. And people know it, because it's not just "A Mach 5", it's "The Mach 5". Step 2: It needs to be original. No "The Crusher" or something like that, it's been done to death, then came back as a zombie, and then was done to death again. Step 3: Something simple and to the point. People aren't going to remember some silly thing like "The Lord Baron Silversteen McCar". It needs to be something that you can work into a conversation, and intrigue people without freaking them out. Like "The Fast", but that's not quite it. I think I've covered everything. Now to come up with the perfect name, that fits all those qualities, as well as your car specifically. A Camaro, silver with black racing stripes. Nothing too flashy, and yet not afraid to say, "Yeah, I know I'm cool". So we need a name that fits that. In conclusion I think the perfect name for your car is: "The Blade" |

Samuel L. Jackson. or maybe... Francois Except that last one would probably be a cliche, because we've already named a PSP, a Honda Odyssey, a dead fish and a couple of other things Francois. So you may want to stick with Samuel L. Jackson. |

I used to drive a car called the "Devil Car from Hell." It was christened by the mechanic who tried to replace the engine. It helped that the license plate had a 666 on it. But other than that, I've never named any of my cars, nor do I ever plan to. |
