I dunno....I'm a casual user and Macs are a lot better for that, for me at least. I love my (4) Mac(s) and browsing on them is great. But my lappy is running XP, and if you use them right and make them comfortable, Windows are pretty cool too.

What software did you use, Avid or Final Cut Pro?

Another thing I noted is that unless your user account has full authorities, you can't really do crap; can't put files outside of your user folder, need to enter the password of the administrator account when downloading a file or opening it etc.

okay, then. i'll remember to stop my dad getting it. he made my user restricted user. you'd think he'd learn, every time something happens, he has to log off my user, log on to his, fix the problem, log off, log back on to my user, check that it works (which it won't), log back off, ect. how much easier would it be it i had the administrator privelages?

Final Cut. Although, I really didn't so much "make films" as much as "played around with Flash and got on the interweb."

That's as bad as Windows Movie Maker.

We can't get on the internet. My department has two servers: an audio server and a video server. The audio server is great and the video server would be if it didn't crash so often.
