For two weeks, there has been a German festival known as "Oktoberfest", celebrating the coming of fall. This is a big event in Germany, with parties full of polkas, bratwurst, and beer. This festival will continue until October 3rd. So, let the partying commence! Tell what U think! Eat, drink, and be merry! |

As long as there's good sausage, I'm in.
(Wait.. That would require me to make a new av or sig, hmmmm...) |

Forget the sig thing. I was feeling exeptionally poseriffic at the time. I was hoping to make a new forum holiday then. I'll edit that out. Enjoy the wursts, without the pain of making avys or sigs. |

But there's never pain in making avatars or sigs. On the other hand, I've got to go soon. |

My town has an Oktoberfest, and they just so happened to start it the same weekend our family's last garage sale was. SO you can see why I don't like this thing too much. |

Being of very German heritage from both sides of my family, all I have to say is: WOOT OKTOBERFEST! |

Usually the day we celebrate Oktoberfest at our house (tomorrow, October 30th) there's a fall festival that takes all the valley people and tourists here. And it steals our guests. But not this year. It's cool. And usually my band plays, but my guitarist's grandparents are coming up for the weekend, and his parents say that they won't know anybody and therefore have nobody to talk to. But this year so many friends are coming to my house. Ain't that cool? |

You know what this means? I use german ingredients in my experimental ramen. EDIT: 2222th post. Woah, two metre stones in a row. |

Ahh, Oktoberfest. The one party that makes Mardi Gras look like a Tupperware party. King Ludwig knew how to throw a wedding party, eh? One of the the things I want to do before I die is go to Oktoberfest in Munich. |

Despite my somewhat German heritage, Oktoberfest never really interested me. I'd rather not see grown men in lederhosen dancing to polka. |

Hah, Oktobeerfest. I always thought it was a cool tradition. While Germany might like sausage, Poland prefers kielbasa. |
