Somtimes if two things are connecting to another, such as "desert" and "Sting", it helps to Google them both in seperate quotation marks ("desert" and "Sting") to get the answer (which is, as SR said, Desert Rose).

On a different note, does anyone know what the words with the yellow background (as opposed to green) mean?

From the game hints:
