Sometimes I like to point out the painfully obvious...

honestly i dont think he should. and if he was, and they pulled all the troops from iraq, the insurgency would increase, because the iraqui police force would be wiped out sooo fast. then what? terror attacks? probably. and just think about it, troops will probably never fully withdraw from Iraq. we still have troops in Korea and Vietnam.

Actually, I'm pretty sure we pulled out of Viet Nam completely in the 1970's. But we do still have troops in Korea. In fact, what most people don't know is that the war in Korea never officially ended; we've just been on armistice for the past 50 years or so.

Definitely impeach Bush. He calls himself the President of the U.S.? Why, he's nothing but a menace to society. He doesn't care about people, all he cares about is hoarding money.

This isn't the thread for conspiracy theories.

Bush being a gigantic money monger could probably be called one.

well... he sure aint the best president, and the only reason we voted for him these two terms is because first, we thought gore was power hungry or something, and second, nobody supported gay marriage. so.. i voted yes.

You may be misunderstanding the whole point of Impeachment, there, Asking. You can't impeach someone just because you don't agree with their policies, or even if they make mistakes in office. Impeachment is essentially a criminal trial. If the man cannot be convicted of an actual crime, then impeachment procedures cannot take place.

But lots of presidents weren't really the "best". Warren Harding himself said he was unfit for the office and never should have run; his presidency was plagued with scandal and corruption. Harding ended up dying of a heart attack about two years into his term, but he wasn't impeached.

I don't think Bush should be impeached. He is too far along and it's not worth the red tape. He is into the lame duck phase of his presidency. January 20, 2009 can't come fast enough for me.

No he's not...
According to him, he'll never be a lame duck unless he goes hunting with Chaney.

But that wouldn't make him a lame duck! A dead deer, maybe, but not a lame duck.

It would, however, make him just plain lame.

Well you see, when a presidential candidate receives a majority of the electoral votes, they then become the President. And so, that's why he calls himself the President of the U.S. Because, you know, he is.

I guess you're right, but in hindsight, I don't think he should've won after all.

If he pronounces "nuclear" right I think nearly everyone who opposes him will stop. Then they will gladly support his unconstitutional laws such as the Patriot Act.

He seriously isn't worth it, if you let him go out peacefully nobody will remember him anyhow.

Dude, Bush didn't create the USA PATRIOT ACT; Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner did. Bush just signed it into law.

And I think it's kinda hard for everyone to forgive him if he learns how to pronounce one adjective correctly.

It said they did on Uncyclopedia, and everyone knows that all tall tales on Uncyclopedia have a grain of truth.

And if it wasn't for Bush the Patriot Act wouldn't be in law. He supported it, so he's a bad dude.

It's too late in his term to impeach him though, just be a waste of resources.

He did it alone. Without ANYONE voting on it at all...

Riiiiiiiight.

Why don't you look at who voted for it.
2 Senators (and one was NOT Hilary Clinton) did not vote for it (and one of them didn't vote either way). The vote was slightly more nay in the House, with 66 nay votes, compared to 357 yea voted.

Senate
House
The whole "Bush is behind this" argument is tired and doesn't hold water.

America says, "We actually know the president's name, so we'll blame him for everything."

On Uncyclopedia I made a page stating that Frankenberry was made out of several body parts of dead, pink dudes. So a cereal mascot is made out of dead pink dudes?

Yeahsure.

And bravely and swiftly the sarcasm eluded Noidyman's senses.

I completely agree with Vitruvian; actually, Bush has a higher approval rating than Congress, made up of mostly democrats, so Bush and Co. can't be blamed as much.

Also Bush didn't actually do anything but someone will probably convict him for jaywalking or something so what's the point amirite.

He shouldn't be impeached. He only has *checks T-Minus W* 479 days, 56 minutes, and 37 seconds left in office. It would just be a waste o' time.
