Okay, I haven't seen the video (if one exists yet) for the February Thirtieth thing, but I know the one for "The Internets" is on CNN.

1. George was talking to some people about hearing rumors on "The Internets" about "The Google". Later, he comments that he likes to look at "The Google" for maps, so he can look at his home ranch at Texas.

MY PROBLEMS WITH THIS-- He's wasting his time on "The Internets", and he looks like a moron.

2. I don't know much about this one, but he told some important people that he was gonna hold a meeting to pull the troops outta Iraq Feb. 30th.

MY PROBLEMS WITH THIS-- If he's joking, this is not something to joke about. If he's not joking, which is what I think, then...yeah, I don't need to say anything else.

I hate to be pointing this out, but my anger level is in the stratosphere, and I need to hear you guys' opinions.

I don't know anything about this so-called, "Feb 30" thing. The Google doesn't seem to have anything on it.

And as for that "The Google " thing, it might help if you posted a link so the rest of us can see it. And as for "wasting his time," what makes you think it's disrupting his work? That he isn't doing it on his break time or his regular off time? Sounds a lot to me like you're jumping to a lot of conclusions and expecting us to do the same.

Whoops, link to the google thing.
http://www.cnn.com/

It's the no. 1 popular video.

And I'm not jumping to conclusions, but I think he's wasting his time. I doubt he has enough "free time" (he's frakkin' president) to stare agape at "The Google". Frankly, if he's president, I think he should stop calling it the Internets.

And the Feb. 30th thing has nothing to do with "The Google". It's just another thing that makes me mad.

Rusty, you are a hypocrit. If you are going to complain about anyone wasting time on the internet at all, then you need to get the crap off of it yourself. And the last time I checked, being president didn't require 24/7/365 office hours with no breaks.

And if there's no evidence of a "Feb 30" then there's no real reason to be upset about it until there is. Because, for all you know, you may be getting angry about something that never happened. My suggestion is to not pay attention to rumors and wait until there are some available facts.

Yeah, The Google thing isn't such a big deal. But the Feb 30th thing is. This is a fact, and I will link it, as soon as my friend can give me the link which he can't because he's not on IM but he will be when he gets back from the orthodonist oh crap run-on sentence.

Anyway, this is true, and it proves either 1. He doesen't give a crap about the country(This is either a joke, or a blunder. I'm siding with blunder, but if I'm wrong, he is not respecting anything at all. The war in Iraq is not something to joke about), or 2. He's a complete moron.

To be frank, I don't think the "internets/the Google" thing belongs in the same thread as something serious... they're just too unrelated except that both have to do with Bush.

"Internets" is old, but I don't think I started using the term with frequency until fairly recently. I think I started when I was making Dubya Song for YTMND ("Captain George Dubya Bush of the U.S.S. Internets"). Anyway, I wouldn't be so surprised that the man who brought us the "internets" would give us "The Google".

No opinion on the Feb. 30th thing until I have more information.

Well, Googling Iraq alongside of "February 30th" got this result, which is a transcript of a press conference Dubya gave on the 11th of this month. This is the whole Feb. 30th thing:

Transcript wrote:
These budget numbers are not just estimates; these are the actual results for the fiscal year that ended February the 30th.* [sic]

...

* September 30th

There ya go. Nothing about Iraq or pulling out troops--just stating the wrong month in regards to the economy.

its funny, he's saying something smart and he goes and ruins it by saying February 30th.

So, Mr. Rusty, you were all up in arms because he accidentally said September instead of February in a fiscal report. While quite silly (though nothing much sillier than a typical Gabbly conversation), I don't think it's anything worth getting all worked up over.

Upon further consideration, I wonder how many hours upon hours upon hours he must be wasting of the taxpayers dollars looking at his ranch on a The Google map. Why, that must be nigh unto bankrupting our federal government by now.

I think he's trying to figure out how to clear the brush via The Google.

Too late by far for that.

(A tip: you can hit reload to watch the number climb by tens of thousands of dollars every few seconds.)

As for Bush's verbal gaffes, they are long standing and well known. Not really worth getting upset over in and of themselves. Perhaps it was the straw that broke the camel's back in Rusty's case.
