I first heard about this on Fox News when I was at the Dentist's today (my friend had his wisdom teeth taken out and he needed a driver).

Apparently, the leading names of pseudo-history are all gathered in one place to debunk that grand lie known as the Holocaust.

At first, I thought this was some sort of anti-Iran propaganda from O'Reilly and friends, then I found out it was real..

I would love to see their "proof" that it was all a lie. The only thing I've heard from a "revisionist" that makes me go "well, yeah, that MIGHT have some weight" is the argument of "6 million people is a lot of people to kill. Could the Nazis have really killed so many people in that short a time?".. Then I think about it, and, yes, they could.

With so many anti-semites in one place, I would love to see Israel deliver a couple tons of high explosive.

The sad thing is, with this going on, Kofi Anan, in his farewell speech to the UN, chose to chastise American foreign policy, not even mentioning the absurdity of this "conference". He should have told the UN that they should stand guard, lest another "Final Solution" be planned (and I think it already has been).

(How many people are not going to read this and think I'm saying the Holocaust didn't happen? I REALLY wish there was a sarcasm font on here.)

Hmm. How about they take them to Auschwitz or Dachau or any of the other Concentration Camps and show them the mass graves and see if that changes their minds at all.

Anyway, I agree with Mr. Yashayai in the second article; the Holocaust is a fact, and it is a "disgrace for humanity". There were photos taken at the camps, perhaps even film footage shot. And "ordinary people" would have to be really good actors to pretend that they had lived through the Holocaust.

first things first, Im not in love with your tone. Second, Iran wants Israel wiped off the map, Correct? This is the start, Israel is the Promised land of the Jewish Faith, and since this conference is to debate weather or not the Holocaust actually happened. In response for this, Israel will do something demeaning against Iran, and Iran will get ticked and start launching missiles, Eventually targeting the Dome of the Rock, causing the situation i listed above. That is what this conference may, and most likely, will lead to.

Of course, Iran has always denied both the Holocaust and the existance of Israel, so no surprises there.

Turkey is just as bad about their denial of the Armenian Genocide, and do their best to prevent any scholarly discussion on the issue. And we're thinking of letting them join the EU? Ptff.....

Eh... not surprised at this. Iran is willing to go to any lengths to "prove" the Holocaust not to exist, which only makes people have more solid beliefs in that, IMO. And I think it is funny that the U.N. insults American policy but it leaves the Iranians untouched. Not that American policies are perfect, but Iran is a bit more threatening then a bad policy.

Yeah I've heard of this "theory" (more like mental disorder). I've actually been to Auschwitz. Disturbing place... But anyway, I doubt my grandparents (who were in Poland during WWII) are part of a big conspiracy. Not to mention that family friend. Or all the other people I talked to. I go to Poland every summer and ask any old person there they will tell you that those Jews weren't sent to a beach resort on cargo trains. They got a one way trip to hell on earth. Did I mention the graves? No? Well now I have.

But, toastpaint, I have always been morbidly curious concerning Nazi Germany, WWII and the Holocaust. It was a sad, sad time and many innocent people were murdered because of dumb ideas regarding racial supremacy. Saying it didn't happen, just as an act of anti-Semitism, is a completely selfish and disrespectful thing for Iran to do. But of course, we all know that. Case closed.

Oh, and also, I consider myself a bit of an amateur Holocaust historian, and I can tell you that even through my small amount of research, I've found more than enough evidence to prove it really happened. So up yours, Iran!
