Sometimes, I lose faith in humanity..

Seriously, what kind of retard puts their child in the care of a complete stranger that she can't even identify?!?

Dang, the spelling and grammar in that article stink! I could have written a better version of that!

Sad.

 I feel bad, at least the child didn't suffer any serious injury.

Man, I would have slapped that lady if I were that valet. Honestly, it's people like her that make me sick.

Hey! You live in AZ? NO WAI!!!11!!1ONE!1!

Anyway, what I find disturbing is that she would take her dog shopping and leave the child in the car. It's... often times the other way around, no? Us humans need to stop caring so much about dogs. I would kill like, five babies to have me a puppy, though. :p

See, this is why they need to screen people before allowing them to have a kid. Some people just shouldn't be allowed to have children. This woman is one of them.

The PETA funded terrorist group (Animal Liberation Front) would like to talk to you...

On one TV news channel or another, I heard that this woman said she took her dog into the store because it would get lonely if she left it in the car.

I would pay $1 for you to realize babies are important.

Well not entirely. It would solve a whole lot of problems. I'm not kidding when I say that there are people who should not be allowed to have children.

It would solve problems, but it would create problems as well.

Don't let Ninti hear you say that! :-P

About screening/licensing people to have children...we license people to drive because they're putting themselves and others at great potential risk by driving. We license people to teach children because they will be influential in the way so many children grow and develop, even if they only see them for a semester. So why not license people to have children for the same reasons? Parents are going to be the most responsible for a child's physical, psychological/emotional, and perhaps even spiritual well-being.

Just something about having to be accepted by the government before you have a child scares me.

It is kinda Big Brotherish, but I can see why Zeno thought what he did.

I never thought I'd say this, but that actually sounds like a REALLY good idea.

Y'know, SR, the title of this thread is an awesome argument against abortion. ;)

And it says she's a teacher... This person gets put in charge of other people's kids.

She's just lucky it was winter and not summer. Toddlers can die in cars in summer.

Probably so, although the topic of this thread is, arguably a great argument FOR abortion, or at least mandatory sterilization for people who think more of animals than they do of people.

Hey now, I love my dogs, but I would never, EVER leave a child of mine in a car by itself and bring the dog inside instead.

However, I would not leave a dog in the car, either. I'd probably just leave it home.

Dear god, how in the world did she ever become a teacher with logic like that?

Simple: Teacher shortage. Parents get all up in arms about "my kid has to have a small class" instead of "my kid needs good teachers".

Well, she's in arizona.
We have a shortage of teachers here.
They're taking almost anyone these days.
