Honestly, I'm a bit scared by this.
Since I'm flying home in about five hours, I have been tossing in turning in my sleep all night. I'm scared that there will be a reaction or something, and something will happen. I dunno.
It's unlikely, I know, but I can't help but feel a little scared.

But, to go along with the conversation, I don't think the Death Penalty is necessary even for people like him. They should have just let him rot.

I thought you were 15, Stevie. The disclaimer says you have to be 18 to see it. ;)

He's gone?

Hmm.

It doesn't feel much different. :|

As for letting him rot in jail: I will probably get thrashed for this, but... A man who has committed such an inhumane act does not, in my opinion, deserve to live.

It's no worse than what he did to his own enemies, that's for sure. Frankly, the man was nearly 70. He probably wouldn't have lived long enough in jail for it to be considered "rotting," by any stretch of imagination. No, I think he got what he deserved.

OOookaaaay.

I'm not sure what that has to do with Saddam Hussein, though.

EDIT: Sorry. I didn't see the "Over 18" discussion above.

Apparently there was a car bombing in a Madrid airport. The authorities think it may be linked to Mr. Hussein's necktie accident.

The power rangers have failed. D:

But I think this is good, the insurgents will proably be a little more active for a while, but this will no doubt discourage them in the future.

He got it easy, the usual punishments for crimes against humanity are a lot worse. Most involve torture for a long time.

They should have just kept feeding him Doritos until he had a heart attack, that would have been good enough for me.

Did anybody notice yesterday's Mother Goose and Grimm in the comics?

Now, Sunday comics are usually written six weeks in advance, so it's just coincidence, but kind of funny how the timing worked out, isn't it?

Wow, that's freakishly cool. I can't believe I didn't notice that yesterday...

It's hard to say. Al-Sadir, the guy who's causing a bulk of the trouble (and, by some accounts, is the guy who's in control of Iraq), hates Saddam, so he might actually be happy, unless HE was wanting to kill Saddam himself, in which case, we've ruined his chance at revenge.

I saw the death photos on /b/.

Also, by letting him be killed in such a gruesome manner, we lower ourselves to his level.

Gah, if you are going to deny the authenticity of 4chan images, do it as follows:

"It is a shop. I can tell by some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time."

but, by not allowing him to be killed as the Iraqis saw fit, we'd be "telling them what they can and can't do".

Wasn't denying it. Just amused (though not terribly surprised) at the idea that it'd be used for, ah, providing such information. :)

Toastpaint.
