If I am not, or have never been attracted to a member of a race other than my own, does that make me racist? |

No, just a preference. It doesn't mean that you don't like that particular race. I have no issues with black women, but I have no desire to date them. It's just not something you, or I, are interested in. |

It's all a matter of preference and choice. Some people just find a race more attractive than another. I'm the exact opposite from you though. I have flirted with, and have been rejected by girls of all races and ethnicities. |

You'd only be racist if you completely shut off yourself to the idea of dating someone who you would otherwise date, provided they were of the same race as you. "I'm not attracted to someone of a different race as me and I've never been attracted to someone of a different race as me" is very different from "I'll never be attracted to someone of a different race as me. |

No, ive never really been attracted to anyone of my own race. I prefer Asians, but we have a small population of them down here, so I make due with the women of the exotic white race. ... .. Ohh crap, I think i just made a racial slurr... |

it doesn't make you racist, but i think it's kind of strange. i don't think there's a single race of people i've ever seen that didn't have some hotties as members! attractiveness totally transcends race, in my observation. |

So true. XD Anyway, I'd say it doesn't. In my mind, it's no different than, say, preferring brunettes to blondes, or tall guys to short guys. And again, even if you're mostly attracted to one race or whatever, there's always a chance you'll find someone of a different race that you find highly attractive, or even fall in love with. So no, it's not racism at all. Unless, as Sree said, you were completely unwilling to accept the possibility that you might be attracted to someone of a different race, or unwilling to date them solely because of their race. THAT would be racism; mere physical preferences are not. |

Being attracted to, say, redheads, for example is ok. Refusing the possibility that you could ever have a relationship with someone who is not a redhead is still your right (but it's really freakin' shallow). |

Whoever voted 'yes' didn't state their opinion.... That's what I asking for here. |
