Anyways, just to really clear it up, my main problem with your initial post was you made it sound like there's tons of people that act as though terrorism is nothing at all, intentionally or not, which to me, sounds pretty dumb.

Here's a repost of a message I sent on myspaec when somone bullitened at crappy 9/11 tribute, and she said she cried.

I don't understand why people are so sad about two big eyesores in new york being crashed into by airplanes by crazy Muslim extemists trying to get 72 virgins in heaven, and they don't even remember half of it because they we're in 3rd grade. I can understand for people who had relatives who died, but for people who had no connection with it, don't get so butt hurt about it. Just say "I feel bad for the people who died kthx" instead of getting all crying about it.

This kind of thing happens to innocent people in the Middle east everyday. Do they get all butt hurt and go "omg 6/12, 6/13, 6/14, 6/15, 6/16, 6/17...."? Be happy you aren't them, and forget about the past. The media played this all up like it was the end of the world.


Note that I don't feel totally like that, I just was mad at her.

I was asleep when they actually hit the towers, seeing as how I live in California. But when I woke up, I saw this whole news report and I'm all "HOLY CRAP WHAT" and then I went to school and for some reason everyone, including me, in my class wanted to declare war on the terrorists. Like, us personally, not the government.

Oh, we were so young and naive...

Same deal here, Manderz. I was in first grade and my dad got all over-patriotic about it and was like "We're going to kill them, and we won't back down" and stuff.

I totally thought he meant that we would personally go and attack the terrorists.

Of course, I've changed a LOT. I no longer support the war. I think Bush is an idiot. But at the time, I'm all "LOL BUSH = TEH SHIZ WE GO TO WARZ NAO".

I was not a very intelligent child.

I'm sure you've changed too, of course. I just think it's funny.

Also, how COULD we forget 9/11? It's like saying "REMEMBER THE HOLOCAUST!" or "REMEMBER THE BLACK DEATH!" or "REMEMBER JANET JACKSON'S WARDROBE MALFUNCTION!" or "REMEMBER THE TITANS!" or something along those lines. It was such a major event. It'll be in our minds forever, man.
