President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints that is. (Mormon church)

Yeah...I attend BYU Idaho and the news struck a lot of us very hard. Especially since he was supposed to attend the Rexburg Temple Dedication next Sunday. :( At least he is reunited with his wife now.

He will be missed terribly. Will President Monson be our new Prophet?

Oh that's sad.
Yes, Monson will most likely be next, though he doesn't HAVE to be. I think he'd be awesome. He already is. :)

Have you no respect?

It has hit quite hard in our home. I posted a poem on my blog that my seminary teacher showed us on Monday after he had passed.

Really capture his spirit I think.

We'll miss you President Hinckley.

Doesn't mean you have to repeat it. ;)

It's official. Monson is our new Prophet! Wow...I'm so excited. It will, I admit, take some getting use to...but I am very happy he's next. ^___^

I'm surprised Big Chief Mormon didn't chime in on this when he was here earlier.

gunluva's post was only an hour and a half ago, or are you talking about the topic in general?

He's mentioned this on his blog. Guess he either hasn't seen the topic or thought enough had been said here.
