| Post subject: | World Youth Day 2008 |
Hey, as some people might know, the World Youth Day 2008 is being held in Sydney. I myself don't have a problem with it, the Catholic church is fairly unpopular lately in Australia, and this will be great publicity. But there are a few groups of people with arguments against it in Australia, I was wondering if anyone else here felt the same? Are there any Catholics in the forum? What do they have to say about it all? Just thought it might be interesting to discuss. |

In all seriousness, I don't think they should target youth through a "World Youth Day". A day labeled as World Youth Day should be about helping youth who are depressed/homeless/hungry/being abused, etc. Just my two cents. |
