Post subject:  The Matrix: The Philosophical View

Now, I got to thinking a few days ago *Gasp* and I began to think about, in a philosophical way, The Matrix. Now I simply love them and I love to make philosopical type stuff about them. Suppose Zion searching for The One/Neo is like all those guys in the bible searching their Savior/Jesus and Smith somewhat represents Satan himself. Not that I believe that, no no no. I'm a Buddhist. Now who else has their own Philosophical type view about the Matrix Trilogy?

The Matrix/philosophy/religion thing has been done to death. There was even a course taught about it at some college in Oregon.

Which isn't to say it's not interesting, but I'm surprised it doesn't have its own Wiki by now.

This really isn't all that surprising, as The Matrix took many of its ideas for its plot from a somewhat-obscure set of religious ideas called Gnosticism.
