Now, I got to thinking a few days ago *Gasp* and I began to think about, in a philosophical way, The Matrix. Now I simply love them and I love to make philosopical type stuff about them. Suppose Zion searching for The One/Neo is like all those guys in the bible searching their Savior/Jesus and Smith somewhat represents Satan himself. Not that I believe that, no no no. I'm a Buddhist. Now who else has their own Philosophical type view about the Matrix Trilogy? |

The Matrix/philosophy/religion thing has been done to death. There was even a course taught about it at some college in Oregon. Which isn't to say it's not interesting, but I'm surprised it doesn't have its own Wiki by now. |

This really isn't all that surprising, as The Matrix took many of its ideas for its plot from a somewhat-obscure set of religious ideas called Gnosticism. |
