what do you think the pentegram means. ill tell you that when the pentegram is upside down, it means the world of matter,(aka, humans), ruleing over god, and when right side up means god ruleing over matter. some christians or catholics beleive that theyre both evil, but i say bull. thats just my opinion, whats yours? |

The petegram is most certainly not a satanic symbol, if memory serves the pentegram was going to be the logo of the Olympics but was rejected for the five rings. |

The pentagram, like any other symbol, is what you make of it. The Cross, for example, was a torture device. However, Christians now make use of the Cross as our symbol because our Lord died upon one, and in doing so, gave new life to all of us. The Pentagram, as I understand it, was originally associated with Pythagoras and his followers. However, if someone puts pentagrams all over something INTENDING for it to be satanic, then it is. |

Pentagrams. The much used decorations of math book covers the world over. I agree with Didymus. An object or symbol or anything else for that matter, has no meaning unless a person's perspective places meaning upon it. Pentagrams mean nothing to me personally. It's just a star, after all. And stars are pretty. |

Now THAT is satanic. In pretty much the same way that red and white stripes and a blue square with stars on it is American. In the same way that the image of our nation's flag already has strong association with our national heritage, so that particular brand of pentagram already has strong associations with satanism. |

Symbols are all in how you use them and the purpose you intend for them...if I'm not mistaken, Pentagrams used in Satanism represent his power, do they not? But aren't there other uses of the Pentagram that are not necessarily Satanic? |

Well, the concensus so far seems to be that if it's upside down and has a goat's head in it, then it's satanic. Otherwise, it could be just about anything, including the Star of Bethlehem. |

well actually, if you go to Spellsandmagic.com, there's a section under it that talks about pentegrams. it states that if it is right side up, it means God Ruling over the world of matter,(I.E. Us). when it is up-side-down, it means the world of matter ruling over god,(I.E. us ruling over heaven). the satanic ways are not that they worship satan, but that they think they can rule over god, and choose their own futer,(If im wrong, sorry). so, if you dont think that the right side up isnt satanic, then wear it, it will attract good spirits to you. |
