Do you think the Angel of Death exists today? I just want to know what people think. I wrote a screenplay about that subject. If you want to check it out, the link is: http://www.scriptbuddy.com/community/?p ... 8&t=&pg=14 |

Why not? People still die. Keep in mind, the word "angel" in both Hebrew and in Greek is literally "messenger." |

Nope, I think it was Ben Affleck who said to the last AOD, "There hasn't been an Angel of Death since you quit. Doesn't that mean anything to you?" Seriously, now, I'm-a agree with Didy, people die, so there probably is one. |

Sadly, all who could possibly have seen the guy are.. guess what.. dead. It's a nice metaphore, but I don't believe in it. |

I love that show.
Anyway, I'm not sure. I've never died, I don't know. (Of course, the fact that I enjoy Grim Adventures and Discworld means that I still think of Death as a skeleton in a black robe with an awesome scythe. And he likes kitties.) Who knows? Maybe he's not doing his job anymore. Maybe he IS a skeleton in a black robe with an awesome scythe. Heck, maybe he's a giant squid. I simply haven't the faintest idea. I do think that there's probably someone/something that guides us to Heaven (or Hell, or Purgatory, or wherever you happen to be going). |

*cough* GRIM FANDANGO, PEOPLE. Anyway, the Angel of Death, or the Grim Reaper or whatever, is totally awesome in my book, but sadly not even the things I find totally awesome have to exist. I don't think I'll see that guy around. |

Or maybe he sends a red-haired, freckled boy to do his job while he goes fyshing. Since I know someone is going to ask, I'm talking about Mort. Anyway, I believe that there is an afterlife, but I've never given much thought to the means used to get there. I suppose there has to be something, so why not Death? Of course, on that note, why not a train? Why not a hot air balloon? I guess we'll all find out someday. Until then, I figure it's best not to worry about it. |

The portrayed means of getting there will change with time. In old times, we might've had to climb stairs. In the industrial revolution, surely Death was well-equiped enough to afford a cool Death Train of some sort. 'death' is an image in popular culture. He will shapeshift as our culture changes. For me this indicates he is a nice fairy tale |
