I consider myself pret-ty far left.

Not to the point of KILL ALL RIGHT-WINGERS!! but I certainly feel incredibly strongly about my issues.

The character's a conservative, but the real Colbert's a registered Democrat.

Not complete opposite:

I would be what is known in Europe and Latin America as a "Christian Democrat". Not to be confused with a Democrat who is a Christian.

Finally actually TOOK the tests presented here. According to the first test, I'm a Centrist that's in the corner bordering both Libertarian and Left Liberal. The other, longer quiz puts me as a left-leaning Libertarian.

By longer quiz do you mean politicalcompass?

Yeah...aren't there only two quizzes in this thread? Or did I miss something?

There's the Compass, the World's Shortest Political Quiz, and the OntheIssues.Org diamond quiz.

The latest version of it matches you with the 2008 Presidential candiates. My top 3 were Biden, Clinton, & Huckabee. Out of those three, I'd vote Huckabee.

I'm taking political compass test right now. This is hard because so many of these issues I am undecided on. . . . I wish there was an option in between Agree and Disagree, like "I see valid points to both, and I'm not sure yet." Maybe I should just leave those blank.

<Several minutes later>

OK i'm done. It says I'm about 4.63 ticks to the left, which seems a little too far, but I'll go with it. It also says I'm 5.03 ticks into libertarian, which sounds about right. So apparently I'm hanging out with Ghandi.

I can't deny it.
There's a long-haired bearded man in my avatar singing rocknroll songs.
I have several Grateful Dead CDs in my collection.
However, I do shower and don't personally engage in free-love.

I'm centrist, but right smack dab on the line between Centrist and Conservative.
