So if you hurry, you can vote on the catch phrase for the tshirts for the Walmart expose' movie... here are your choices. May I help you... destroy this community? Something Wal-Mart this way comes. Sell your soul... then buy a new one for half price! you can vote here I am very exited about this movie... I know it will be bias and put a definite slant on the info presented, but I think it will be great for people to get an idea of the potential harm of Walmart and the unethical way in which they conduct their buisness. I encourage you all to see it with an open mind! PS... at last minute I decided to make this a poll. So vote, even if you like walmart |

and for the last time, u guys, WALMART IS NOT EVIL!!!! Hmmmm... I suppose that you mean Michael Moore, but actually no, it is made by another left wing bias man by the name of Robert Greenwald. I disagree with him on many issues (his support of the ACLU, his stance on the Iraq war) but I think that it would open your eyes a bit to go see this movie. When you say that walmart is not evil, what are you basing this on? |

I chose the former option, as I like the sound of it best, but I must admit I don't know what the controversy is about. Not to say that I can't be made to think Wal-Mart is less than benevolent, but I merely haven't heard such claims yet. As such, I'm now reading that article... |

Definitely "Something Wal-Mart this way comes." Only slightly cliché; really pretty clever. |

The title "Something Wal-Mart This Way Comes" was used for an episode of South Park.

My own choice was the last one, but I really liked the second, it surprised me that more people didn't vote on it here... could be that most don't recognize the statement it is mimicking. |

I like the Shakespearian quality of the second ("By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked this way comes..." "The Scottish Play" (yes, most actors ARE that supersitious), Wm. Shakespeare). I'd be interested in seeing this movie. |

I recognized it, for one, I just found the altered statement a little on the unnatural side in how it sounded... |

If they were jekrs to their employees, how do they have employees? It's their company, they can choose to do what they want with it. If they can fire employees if they wish, and they can treat them liek dirt if they wanna, you don't have to work there! They can make money how they want, and if they succeed, then their obviosuly doing something correctly. I'm with Choc. |

I'm with Choc. Note that in some areas, Wal-Mart is either the major employer, and thus the one able to pay the most wages, and it may also strangle other businesses, forcing employees of stores going under due to Wal-Mart's influence to seek employment at the only option left: Wal-Mart. Bear in mind, as well, that despite Wal-Mart possibly being jerks to employees, the knowledge of their existence is so wide-spread that it would take a lot of dissatisfied employees to turn the opinion of everyone who knows of Wal-Mart against Wal-Mart employment. As it is now, it's just a drop in the bucket, as they say. |

I think this "May I help you... destroy this community?" will work. I'ma quote a cartoon now, "The slaves made no money, and I don't meen no money like" Walmart worker "I work at Walmart and make no money" "I mean no money! Not even a penny!" The cartoon wasn't really a cartoon for kids though... |

I watched that just tonight, heh. Moore (was it made by him? It was somewhat South Parkish) did make an point there, wouldn't you agree, even if that wasn't his main point? |
