I saw a bumper sticker that said, "If you can't trust me with a choice, how can you trust me with a child?" Imagine what she would do to the poor thing. |

While I don't agree with the sticker (poor taste in my mind), I don't think it's fair to claim that women who are pro-choice would be bad mothers. |

No, I never said that. Probably most pro-choice women are great mothers. It's just: "How can you trust me with a child?" Think about that for a moment or two. |

Sorry that I implied that, I am still confused though. I guess, I just don't think the sticker is well worded. The argument isn't about whether the woman is choosing correctly (as to have an abortion or not), but the simple fact that abortion is evil (so it shouldn't even be a choice). shrug... Time for olympics. (I will still be here... just a little... uh.. distracted)

Yeah, the wording is pretty poor on that sticker, but I like the message. |

I agree with the sentiment in the sticker (though I hate all bumber stickers, really -- especially the saucy ones). I think it is trying to say that there are a lot of people out there who suck at being parents. I am sure you all know some. You just can't trust them with a child. This is something that everybody wants to avoid, whether you be pro-choice or pro-life. Am I correct? We all want every child to be loved? This bumper sticker addresses the idea in a passionate manner. It's a passionate issue. I certainly am turned around each way on the subject. Which I think one ought to be, really. Both "sides" kinda scare me. They're such polar opposites on such a gray issue. |

It's a joke, making fun of those campaigns. Nothing to blow a casket over. |

I find most old people to be quite nice. I don't really like most people my own age: they're selfish jerks. |
