Actually, you sound irrational, desperate, and uninformed.

And just so you know Bush and Kerry's positions on gay marriage are extremely similar. Bush said in an interview just the other day that he believes all people should have a right to some form of civil union, and that he disagrees with his party's platform. (Sorry I can't find the link right now, I'm not on my compy.

Here Bush is walking a fine line. Basically, he's saying he wants gays to be able to get married, he just wants them to call it something else besides marriage so the right wing won't get upset about it. It's a very cleverly concealed flip-flop which he calls a compromise.

First: The link is to a cartoon that has no political value whatsoever.

Second: America is not safer with Bush. He's demolished our economy, sent thousands to be killed, over exceeded the Iraqi War budget many times over, and now there are even MORE terrorists who want to kill us than before!

I'm suprised that no one except for me and InterruptorJones knows about Badnarik. Badnarik sounts like a legitimate politician (HA!) and has some really valid points, and all I hear is Kerry or Nader. Ok, maybe he leans a little to the right. But he sure is the better choice for president than what you guys have.

P.S. I live in Illinois, so I don't have to worry about endorsing a third-party choice. Swing-State suckers!

bleah. I agree with the Libertarians more often than the Republicans (although pretty much the only things I agree with them are social issues, drugs, and crime), but I really dislike their ideas that the government should be the size of a thimble, and that privatizing everything will make life better. I don't trust the government much, but I trust them more than corporations.

Now that idea I can put away with. However, it does seem that the government is a little too big. Just a thought.

They may not have been weapons of mass destruction, but they did find weapons of, er, destruction there.

I really could care less about homosexual marriage and if it is happening or not, but I do see his point in this matter.

He insulted just about every country allied with the US. I an definitly tell this here in Holland. Under Clinton people respected the US. Now the US is mocked, hated, looked down upon and what not.
Under Clinton, we didn't have people bombing us at the time.

Libertarians seem to like him, but as written on Zompist.com;

Bush's tax cuts are not matched by spending cuts, nor is he reducing the size of government; quite the opposite. Over two terms, Clinton raised non-defense discretionary spending by 10% total. In less than half that time, Bush has raised it by 25%. Bush's open-ended expansion of government powers should also be worrying to libertarians.

Evangelicals also seem to like him, but again, as written on Zompist.com (where it can be found in the rants section); The Republicans control all three branches of government; have they made any serious moves to ban abortion, reinstitute prayer in schools, or reverse gay rights? (which would be respectively misguided, a breach against the seperation of church and state and evil anyway.)

The Republicans apperently want to US to work like a Latin American nation. The fruits of the economy under Bush are more and more exclusively going to the rich, with the middle class barely staying where it is, and the poor getting worse off.

Now, and I really am not trying to troll here, I'm just seriously wondering. If anyone is pro-Bush, then why? And what counters do you have to these arguments?

I'm not trying to troll here, I'm just honestly curious. I noticed some here are pro-Bush, and I wonder what defense they have for the guy. I simply can't see any good points to him. Maybe I missed something?

Wow, so...

we lost.

And here I thought a forum like this might change things for the better. I really did. I though Americans could reject who, in my opinion, screwed up the country more tahn any other American alive.

Americans must need their presidents to be sadistic power hungry men who failed in every business venture they tried. We need to unjustly attack other countries and not admit when we are being unjust.

We need to kill other people in far away places to make us feel like big men.

I think the crowning acheivment of the Bush Presidency so far is that they can't admit to making mistakes. The man has had only 4 press conferences (with some reporters STILL not allowed to be there) and he stammers for 30 seconds to the Question: What mistakes have you made?

I cannot even watch the news anymore.

It is hard to love America right now. I feel like the ones who are addicted to hate and fear are the ones who are in majority. Clear headedness is mislabeled as wimpiness or flipflopping or some other word that we have coined to belittle an opposing viewpoint.

In our fear and hate, we have made America a country to fear and hate. We are no longer the beautiful.

But take heart! Four years is not so long. Ha ha.
