This has probably been done before, but still... I MUST KNOW!

Is :sb: REALLY more likely to answer an email "bombarded upon him sunday night" as opposed to one sent the monday a new one is released? If I was in charge, I'd rather have a week or so to do an email, rather than putting it off until a few hours before daybreak. But I am no Bro Chap, so I know very little.

Anyways, what is your opinion?

Actually, I don't think either one is likely. I think sending one closer to the release day, like Friday or Saturday, may be a better method. Or very early Sunday. You have to give them a little time to create, toss around ideas, and stuff. It does take time.

Me too. I remember them saying that they spend most of their sunday working on the toons themselves, with extras being done on monday morning. I don't know if that still applies, though. I do know that they like good emails as opposed to cruddy ones, so they're more likely to answer it if it's a unique email with good potential, but that's not something I can help you with :p

I forget where I heard the number (one of the interviews, maybe?), but I think they usually check from 4-10 pm (ET) on Saturdays, but that has probably changed. porplemontage's email was sent on a Saturday, but one of my friends thinks he got one answered that he sent on a Friday, and I think I've heard other times as well. No one really knows for sure, I guess.

I'm sure they have a huge, huge list to go through and they just pick a random spot in the list...

Or rather, several. Since they want a good email.

Well yeah, a random spot on the list, meaning a page/place to start and go through many emails.

Would you guys recommend re-emailing something you've already sent, or would you see that as spamming?

Given the incredibly small number of emails that are answered compared to those sent (conservatively I'd say less than 0.001%), I'm not sure there's any strategy we could offer that would be guaranteed to work. If you think you have a solid email, I say send it every week. Worst-case is that they just delete it every week.
