I actually liked boring (really). I think it's funny because it's boring. Like Homestar practicing how to close his eyes. I must have an odd sense of humor or something.

I think virus is kinda overrated. When I first came here, I saw a lot of people saying things along the lines of "TBC will never make anything as funny as virus," or "virus was the high point of SBEmails and everything after it is all downhill."

I saw virus before I began coming here, so I got the full effect of the hilarity. It also contains a lot of inside references, all of which I understood, so that also helped make it hilarious. It loses its effect after the first few times though.

My problem with Boring (Really) is that, although it's got a funny moment or two, you don't even need to see it to know what happened. Click on it, let SB read the email itself, you know how the rest of it's going to go.

Plus, I have a vendetta against caffeine for some reason, finding it to be the worst of the compy-era emails, so Strong Sad's caffeine-y appearance knocks the email down a few pegs.

Most Overrated: Virus. Although it is funny, it isn't the greatest
Most Underrated: Sisters. "Come back Ali. Come back Ali's sister." Most of the Tandy 400 emails are overlooked like dullard.

Well well...
Some of the great ones most people seem to overlook are dullard, helium, halloweener, radio, stunt double, kind of cool...man theres just too many! people need to take a closer look...
Overrated? sisters: not that funny actually... and also do over.

Overrated? Hmm, I'd guess I'd have to go with dragon. It's one of my favorites, but it's not the best.

Underrated? I gotta go with date. C'mon! Strong Mad punching Strong Sad repeatedly in the face while wearing a class ring with a camera in it? And the first (I think) appearance of the bear-shark? And supermud? It's comedic jold! I mean gold.

Underrated? Abosolutely car. I was a fan of H*R for a long time before I realized there were forums and a wiki and such, so I saw a whole lot of emails before ever being exposed to other fans' opinions. The only thing that really shocked me was the way people hate car. I mean, I will defend tapeleg and the basics for as long as I live, but I wasn't exactly surprised that people don't like them so much. Car, on the other hand... I don't think it's one of the absolute best, but i'd definitely put it in the top 50... certainly not the bottom 10!

Dragon is overrated. Modeling is underrated. Probably the best among the new emails.

over rated: Personal favorites

Personal fav's is a good one for people who have been on HR for a week or so, becasue its so off the wall, but other wise its charm wears off after a while. same with the marshmellow commercial one with homestar (I blanked out for its name sorry).

Under rated: Guitar

The only reason I can think of why people might not like this one is because he doesnt leave his computer. Other wise his little imitations of the riffs and other stuff is great. Plus strong Bad saying music terms that usually aren't funny is funny (arpeggios).

It's one of the best Tandy Emails. Strong Bad's jig was great. And I like Coach Z's hat.

It's okay and all, but I don't think just a few seconds of Homestar acting insane makes it an instant classic. But that's my opinion.

i think 'dragon' is pretty much over overrated. Most refer to it as 'ze best evaz' or 'my favozite' but i don't think it can compete to greatly with the new golden nuggets TBC keeps occasionally popping out.

Underrated: rock opera. There is just no comparison in originality, humor content, and general ability to make one fall out of chair laughing.

That oen is underrated? Amongst me and my few homestar fan friends we hold that one in high regard as one of the best newer sbemails?

But yes, that is one that can hold is funny-tude for a while.

I really like caffeine, but i don't see many people talking about it.
Trogdor is definately the most overrated. I liked it, but for its quality compared to many others (especially non h*r fans; its on other sites like gamesloth), it is used and selected as a favorite one too much. It was good, but it is overratted.

I know the one that is the most overrated. I know it is 169 aka at work. I know that one is because it wasn't even that good and it got its own deleted scenes, so yeah. :hr:

It was good, but far from the most awesome thing ever.

Underrated: sibbie and island

In my opinion, Homestar says some of his funniest lines in island: "Hey Strong Bad, is there ice cream yet?" Classic!

Yet you have "What the Pfartgl" as your signature.

I think Trogdor is overrated.

I'ma put my two cents in here...

I have a lot of emails on my mind for this particular discussion, but here a few primary choices.

Most Underrated: "dullard" and "monster truck:

I know the "office" comedy situation has been really overplayed in modern comedy, but the Brothers Chaps really know how to pull it off. Strong Bad and Homestar Runner make the perfect comedic duo, especially when they're in the office. Homestar Runner is the ideal dullard, and rambles a slew of words so hilarious it would seem as if the higher beings of comedy were truly on his side. The email "monster truck" has always been a favorite of mine, despite a lack of attention. Strong Bad perpetuates the perfect Sunday monster truck show, and his advertisement was just hilarous. The hard rock blaring in the background? The annoying announcer? The KOTeating a cardboard box covered in syrup? That my friend, is genius! Electric dynamite even!

Most Overrated: "50 emails"

I'm not sure if this one has exactly been "overrated", but it wasn't a really remarkable milestone for the strongbad_email.exe series. I know it can be difficult to really commemorate a special moment in a series, but "50 emails" just didn't cut it for me. The only highlight in my eyes was the line: "More like, YOU write a book about comeback jokes, NERD!!". I know that sounds kind of shallow but hey, you can't like EVERY email right?!
