Old Comics.

I don't see what's wrong with lackey, car, or tape-leg.

Lackey was about the Cheat more than Dorougarde, and Dorougarde was only there because of The Cheat. SB pretended that Dorougarde was a tax collector, and that scared Bubs because he is greedy and did not want to pay money.

Car was about a dumb email that Strong Bad was going to delete, but Homestar thought deletion wasn't funny anymore ("I will save this email from a dumb old joke") and so he started distracting Strong Bad so that the email could live a little longer. Then Strong Bad realized what Homestar was doing and "DELETED!" him, too. So then Strong Bad carried on with the answering of the email, which he had forgotten to delete. Homestar's plan worked!

Tape-Leg was a mere reference to Halloweener. Who else noticed this? Nobody. Strong Bad didn't realize what his brothers were talking about and so we got a silly one-time-only joke. But if you put Halloweener into the mix, the email goes to a whole new level. ("Duct tape some aluminum foil to some twine, and then get your mom to make you a Strong Bad costume"). Obviously, the aluminum foil and twine make the socks. What's the tape for? Holding it together?

[Edit]: :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance: YKTRD!

I'm not saying there wasn't a reason for it, but it just wasn't funny. He could've done a lot more with that than a peice of tape on a shoe, but he didn't. Sure there was a reason for the sending of the email, but that doesn't make the email any better.

Now, why don't you like old comics? It was supposed to not be funny, that's what made it funny, and the pencil moistener was pretty cool. Plus Mooshy was pretty funny. I don't see how it can be worse than some of those Tandy emails. Even though during then, Strong bad was finding his light, and there was obviosuly a reason they weren't as funny as they are now, they still weren't good. i think you're comparing only the modern emails, as old comics is a bad one just compared to the Compy and lappy emails, but in my opinion, not the Tandys, and you were disapointed, as they usually aren't that bad, but if tape leg came out instead of that email, tape leg would probably be your least favorite.

Probably that one where Pom-Pom and Coach Z had that knife fight on the stone bridge...

No, seriously, I don't know. I hate these "favorite/least favorite" type things because I can never ever ever rate things like that.

Are you kidding? That was one of the funniest emails ever!

124. fingers
125. homsar
126. i rule
126. duck pond
126. property of ones
126. new hands
130. making out
130. mile
132. haircut
133. funny

Your board hatesd mile??? Anything powered by The Cheat is hilarious in my book, and haircut was good because of the box song.

Oh, and crazy cartoon was the first email i saw, too.

I know it wasn't supposed to be funny. And I think it was doing a good job. It was terrible. The only good thing about it was the discovery of the commas. The only boring Tandy emails I can think of are i rule and butt IQ. i rule was boring because it was short, but the whole thing about becoming "banned" before the bearshark, that was hilarious. And butt IQ was boring because it was gross. It was actually funny, with the "Transitive Butt Property stating that the stupidity(head)<stupidity(butt). In conclusion, Old Comics was boring on purpose, and was boring. boring (really) was boring on purpose, and was hilarious, and what was even weirder was that I had seen something with almost the exact same plot, like, a month before this one came out. Me and my friend Alan were the only ones who understood it, and everyone else said it was "repetitive and boring".

How can you not like montage? It was hilarious AND it was sent in by almost everyone's favorite moderator (next to that invisible spy), porplemontage!

Upon rewatching some emails, I have decided that I like all the emails and none of them are the worst.

I really think Car is the worst email, too... sitcom. You know what I mean? The whole "You annoy me so I'll punch you" thing.
The only good thing about that email was the "Did you just say doing?" line. Funny

O_o so many people don't like Car! Maybe I'm crazy or something because I thought that one was hilarious, Homestar really cracked me up in this one. "and what are you DOING?" :hr:

Hehehe

I still think "Theme Party" is one of the weaker ones. :p

Boo Spring Cleaning.

I think Current Status might be the worst email for me, though.

One of my least favorites is "i love you". Yes, I know, "Fwqghads!" or however you spell it. The email itself, however, is not funny.

Most emails up until around 30 weren't great, mainly because SBEmails were used as a side feature on HR for awhile. Soon after 30 or so emails they started putting other characters in and lenghtened them out. And made them more funny.

The end.

What are you talking about? You can't beat the randomness of a painting of a guy with a big knife. That was hilarious how he randomly mentioned it and then painted it. THAT's what made the email funny. The old emails are funny in their own special way in my opinon.

Strong Bad dating a wagon fulla pancakes was the most annoying moment in this email.

Frankly, I don't like to rate any of them as worst or best; I just like to enjoy them. That doesn't mean I don't have favourites, but I'm not gonna argue over the pros and cons of each email to determine a "worst" or "best."

The older ones are admittedly kinda weak, but sbemail was still experimental at that stage. TBC needed time to pick up steam. I've definitely laughed harder at some emails more that others, but in the end, I love 'em all.

I LIKED cheatday. And guitar. And no loafing, especially; the complete randomness of their, um, "task" simply defies comprehesion. I didn't like "crying" or "for kids." Homsar singing just gets really annoying. Boring and "modeling" were both a bit of a letdown, and I was kinda dissappointed in the 100th email, after they took so long to put it out.

Edit: And also "The Basics"
