I agree with you, JaxShores. The premise could have yielded something much better. I didn't think this email was very funny at all except for the town meeting thing and several other things. They could have pumped up the Godzilla feature, even. The idea was sort of vague. Maybe they could have had Godzilla/hurricane coverage or something. The email (the question asked to Strong Bad) certainly had a lot of potential. Strong Bad could have made all sorts of stuff up, it was not only simple, it didn't milk the Godzilla genre completely.

Very good. I can always stand some more SB correcting spelling/grammer--that stuff never gets old!
I agree that there should have been some scratchy film reels, but I love the town meeting scene, especially with the backwards roar.
"Cuz they mine! And, they good!"
An obvious line, but delivered perfectly so as to be hilarious. A perfect line to use in real life! I'm going to start saying that AT LEAST once a day...

I think this one was very good. One of the best things about it is how Strong Bad pulled the bait-n-switch (not answering the actual question but something at least remotely related to it.), which can be irritating to me sometimes, but this time it worked because it took a somewhat sensitive topic (anyone else a tad disturbed how casually "nobody" took his subject matter? And how he likely confused FCUSA and SBia AGAIN?) and ran with it in an opposite direction. And Godzilla jokes are always fun. Who wants a King Bubzgonzola/Trodgor showdown?

Darn!

I was waiting all day yesterday for the email to come out and then today, even when it did come out, I got 404'd! I went to the wiki to see if everybody was having this problem and the first thing I see when I go to "unnatural" is the subject: "Bubs is 100 ft. tall. What are the other characters to do?" and I was like WHAT?!?!? Then I opened up Safari and it took 3 and a half full minutes to load.

As for the email...

This was one of my favorites in a while!

I just now realized that Homestar was still talking about the ant thing when he said "Save the Queen! I have six legs!" and then at the end with the leaf on his head and yelling "C'mon, you guys! Let's all go jump in somebody's pants! Everybody, single file!"--- that makes it even more hilarious X-D

The instant I realized what was going on, I began to laugh my buttwesimo off. Gozilla jokes = the grandaddy of awesome. I didn't fully realize all of Homestar's ant jokes until I came here--rather subtle, those--but I wondered if the leaf with a bite out of it had anything to do with ants. Fantastic, I have to say. Not quite as funny as my current era-favorite (which would be "4 branches,") but this is a definite close one.

And Doubledeuce, net time, use the edit button, please?

My new favourite. Though when the ground was shaking, I was kinda expecting Strong Mad. And Homestar's continuous ant remarks were great.

"We must protect the queen. I have six legs"

Also, that King Bubsgonzola tune will be stuck in my head for a while.

I liked this one better than the last few. It's nice that lately we've been actually getting away from the lappy and into more of strongbadia. Bubs isn't that great of a character...but I have to say the rest of the email more than made up for it ;) especially the town meeting where everyone was repeating themselves XD and the whole "it's in the foreground" thing.

King Bubsgonzola! King - King Bubsgonzola, Supreme!

Seriously, for putting in a tune so catchy in my head gives this a win. It took me a while to warm up to the email, but I like it now, escpecially Strong Bad in the toilet.

9/10

This was a pretty funny email.
I liked Bubs/King Bubsgonzola. :)
I also liked :sb:'s apostrophe rant.

I liked this email. Then again, for some reason all of Strong Bad's PSAs make me laugh. Probably because I would've come up with the same thing, eventually, under the right circumstances. I also like the reference to the previous email, and I totally wasn't expecting a giant Bubs at all. Of course, sticking to the question in the email would've just been boring, unless, like, the winds were so strong that it turned the world inside-out or something. O_o Just speculatin'.

I KNEW IT! They've been mutilating and altering characters a lot lately, I just knew Bubs was next! I still don't think though that it was as good as others, like bedtime story.

Actually, I love them all! And who is to decide what is "bad" and what is "good"? Your claims are completely subjective, for you did not offer any evidence.

Here's another example of the trend!! (sort of) Eventually other people will notice it. This was anther email where the title described the toon, not the email itself. The emailer asked about natural disasters, so maybe the title would have been "disaster" but instead it was about the tangent SB went off on...as many of the previous emails have been...

Is it just me, or are Strong Bad Emails becoming more and more bizzare each week?

Whatever. This is great.

And besides, in physiological sense, chickens don't have wangs. I think. I know my bird Peter doesn't have one.

Am I the only one amused by Homestar screaming "Oh my crap!"?
