I thought it was kinda wierd in a bad way...but I laughed out loud at it. First time I've laughed out loud at one for a while...

So...it was so bad, that it was good?

I can see why they need to keep replacing the KoT o.o

Well, *sigh* yet another reference to the New Paper, but at least this time it was merited.

Seriously though, Strong Bad stopped mentioning the Compy and the Lappy by the first email after their introductions (not counting the first Lappy menu).

Why did they stop making Labor Day toons?

They've only ever made two Labor Day toons, in 2003 and 2004, I think. And one of them wasn't even a cartoon.

This email rocked, seriously.

Fun parts:

Original Bubs' abstract legs
Crack Stunt[s]man[/s] Bubs' Appereance (It makes me lol everytime I watch it)
Onion Bubs!
:bubs: "If I had thumbs, I would stick them under my armpit!"

This rocks, seriously.

ONION BUBS!

As someone who's been on the wiki for three years, I knew that.

I know you're a member of the wiki. I just don't think that two in a row constitutes a trend.

I was laughing a lot at the Onion Bubs part...for some reason the screaming "Onion Bubs! ONION BUUUBS!" person struck me as really funny. Also it reminded me of the Seinfeld audience's reaction to Kramer when he first started becoming really popular in like the 3rd or 4th season.

Well, getting a new paper is like...getting a new pet. At first, you really miss the old pet, but after a while, you get used to it, and don't mind anymore. Something like that will happen sometime, after the New Paper jokes get old. But I did like The Paper more, it wasn't as pathetic as the new one.

I don't care if SB has mentioned the New Paper every time. That one absolutely floored me.

"Onion Bubs" had me rolling on the floor laughing... For that reason alone, I give this email a 5/5.

Original Bubs was pretty good.

Bubs beating up Strong Bad was great.

New Paper falling down was absolutely legendary.

A+!

How was New Paper falling down "legendary?"

I loved the return of Crack Stuntman, it made me crack up pretty hard, and so did Onion Bubs, and I got a bit of a laugh at Original Bubs' leg animation (for reasons I do not know) so this would get a 4/5 rating, but the New Paper joke killed it. I'm sick of every e-mail for about 5 having a joke about the New Paper. The New Paper jokes are ALREADY old. If he hadn't made that one joke, this e-mail would have been perfect. With it, my rating goes down by 2 stars. If my e-mail gets chosen next week and he makes a New Paper joke, I'll regret even sending it. 2/5.

In this email Homestar reached a level of stupidity only seen until now in complex mathematical theories.

Heh, seeing Strong Bad smack the pfargtl out of tropes like the "Other Darrin Maneuver" has yet to get old. I do wish he'd let up on the New Paper, though.

Anyway, Original Bubs was amusing, as were the increasingly implausible "He's hiding behind a cardboard box" excuses and the brief string of replacement Bubses. It was a bit odd seeing Crack Stuntman (or Crack Stunt-Bubs, I should say) alongside the considerably less realistic H*R cast.

And I found the graves of the former Kings of Town (including Onion King of Town) to be morbidly amusing.

I LOVED IT! My favorite character is Bubs. Its good to see him shine. :bubs: And Original Bubs was funny.

"I can see you, from over here!"

I also loved how the music played when he walked.

I give it five Eekdances :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance: :eekdance:

Original Bubs had a voice nearly identical to, dare I say that name again, Crackotage. And I bet he couldn't walk up the stairs with short legs like those. :)

New Paper: a piece of paper that prints from the longer side facing down. Who knew? Most of the papers I've seen are positioned vertically when they print.

Eh... subpar. The only thing that made me laugh was the New Paper at the end, which was REALLY funny (just very well set up). Everything else was pretty bland

Now that is a quality Strong Bad Email! Between Strong Bad's questionable memory and his penchant for makin' stuff up, it's basically an email full of stuff that never actually happened! And it had some great jokes too:
    -twelve King of Towns
-"Like when talk show hosts have surgery, or go to jail!"
-Original Original Bubs pounds Strong Bad's face
-the new paper continues to disappoint

No randomness-for-the-sake-of-randomness. No predictable pop-culture parodies. Just straight-up Strong Bad makin' up Bubses.

...and the King of Town performing no-landing mayo extractions.

Sewiously you guys. that was hilarious. I recognized that original Bubs from the original museum, and it's good to see the Bros never forget the past.

Oh, and original :bubs: 's walking sound? the best since :homsar: sewiously.

Hey, lighten up on the New Paper jokes! The Paper was around longer than any compy, or anything else for that matter! Heck, The Paper was older than Homsar (by roughly the same margin that one twin is older than the other). It deserves to have it's successor suck for a while.

I don't know how to phrase it, but there has got to be some kind of mention of the first time Crack Stuntman(bubs) is seen on screen alongside the rest of the characters on the Wiki page.

First....time a human interacts..? No... First time something from the Cheat Commandos show interacts with-....? No....

In any case, excellent e-mail. Heavy on the non-standard jokes. Me likey.

Especially Homestar's line "...behind that...toothpick sculpture?" It's like he actually realized something was truly ridiculous. Something not himself. :-)

Best thing ever: Crack Stunt-Bubs! I haven't laughed out loud at a sbemail in ages and this was great!

Strong Bad needs to give the new Paper a break, though. It's trying really hard.

Not a bad email. I laughed a few times, especially at Senor Cardbubs saying "I should eat a pony", though Crack Stuntbubs saying it kinda removed the random element, and made it less funny.

Anyway, not bad, bu we definitely need more :coachz: . 4/5

This sbemail was funny, but not a classic as I think the one before it was. My favorite parts are the Onion Bubs part and the KOT's laughable line.

Oh, and "...behind that toothpick sculpture?" made me laugh as well.
