6th DVD. Chose "email thunder". Activate the comentary at the begining. Then you'll find out about your "Decemberween present".

It will be released after the final SBCG4AP probably. It will probably be a big email to follow-up on 200 considering how long its taking them.

I hate to say it, but I'm afraid there won't be one. Why?

1) The elaborate "pomp and circumstance" style of the intro, signifying a graduation or moving on.
2) The end credits listing every sb_email ever done and the appearance of certain characters when you move the mouse over email titles.
3) TBC haven't gone this long without doing one since 2001. Sure, they're working on the last game, but they managed to do a few emails while working on the other games.

I sincerely hope I'm wrong. But all good things must come to an end, sooner or later.

I'm also worry'd that 14 was the last Teen Girl Squad. The credits made me think that's kind of like the end of the story or something.

Yaaay! We all loooose! I now change my vote to January cuz they still have the Decemberween cartoon, & they spent time making commentary on the DVD 7 Possibly did some Telltale related stuff, so they've been too busy.

I really hope this isn't the end of Strong Bad Emails. I mean, sure, I luv the toons, but the emails brought something special - that connection between the fans and the creators. I'd be sad if they got rid of them.

Mike doesn't seem to necessarily agree with Matt about that one in the commentary. Not to mention this wouldn't be the first time they've joked about ending sbemails and not really done it.

Yeah but I think they have created the option to end it here at 200... because if they keep going they'll have to do at least 50 or 100 more. I'm thinking that the consideration to end it here is serious.

Strong Bad's e-mail address is still functional, so they haven't taken any serious measures yet. Most of us have been complaining about how Strong Bad is an overrused charecter anyway; perhaps they will start a new series with another charecter to fill the void.

Not necessarily. They could stop any time they want to. Like email 216. Bonus Stage (which I have used as a comparison several times now) ended with episode 88, which is no special number.

But that ended due to financial difficulties, not creative stagnation.
That ended even though the creator didn't want it to; SBemails are ending because the creators want them to.

is somewhat overused, I do want to see a 201. Perhaps maybe in January they'll release it, as TBC still have a D'ween toon to come (hopefully) and I bet they want to take a break after SBCG4AP. Even so, a hremail, kotmail, cheatmail, zmail, or even a Bowlin' Trophy Digital (Homsar email) would be nice.

I'll bite that Strong Bad is overused, but I don't care. I like him answering the e-mails. I just... I can see other characters answering e-mails, but I can't see them being as good as when Strong Bad answers them. He's just good at his job.

Well yeah, 18000 is kind of stretching it if you ask me. But I wouldn't mind, as long as I can come back from the dead.

In my opinion its will be here in Early January or late December (assuming Mike was joking in the commentary *laughs nervously*)

My reasons being they didn't release one for a while after #200 because they were creating the sbemail.exe dvd 6 and they most likely didn't want to add more emails to the dvd just as they were near finished!
Then they didn't make it for longer because they needed to make the final SBCG4AP and most likely next week they will be making a decemberween cartoon.
Not to mention their holiday break afterwards which will chew up a few more weeks and so really its all just been bad timing in my opinion! :mrgreen:

Well, I really, really, really hope you're right, because I don't know what the site will do without SBemails. Then again, they seem to have ended TGS, and potentially Cheat Commandos. Is this a bad omen? I sure as hell hope not. :eek:
