I loved how Strong Bad made fun of imaginary friends. His failed attempts to reveal Strong Sad's invi...er...imaginary friend were good. Strong Mad was hilarious! What was he 13? Crudfully yours! LOL. I guess the Corpy is Strong Bad's de facto computer. The de facto paper is, um, interesting. There was something missing, tho.

4/5

Also, notice that this is sbemail 202. We had one last week, remember?

Nothing special, but funny enough that my laptop stayed on the table.

I must applaud the Brothers Chaps for successfully breaking free of that "Strong Bad discusses different ways to do one thing" routine, but I must also wonder whether or not "Strong Bad recalls something mean he did to Strong Sad" will become a routine.

I liked when Teen Strong Mad said "GIRLS ARE CONFUSING!"

Glad to see SBEmails are truly back!

Oh, my rating is a :sb: :sb: :sb: :sb: / :sb: :sb: :sb: :sb: :sb:

I really liked this toon. I don't know why everyone is being so hard on it. Not every sbemail has to be a barrel of laughs to be good, sometimes I just like seeing new stories involving the characters and I found this one interesting because it was lil sb and ss. I did laugh though, especially at Strong Mad's crack about girls being confusing haha.

...... but dang. Corpy NT6? I knew TBC would pick something we wouldn't be expecting. I think it's probably going to be temporary. But temporary as in, maybe a few weeks to a month or so before he gets a new one. Then again, maybe this is his permanent new computer. They changed the location to the basement, which also refreshifies some of the sbemail scene.

The random thing is still there, like someone said, on the sbemail Corpy menu if you use the seek bar. But I don't think they're going to implement the random animations, I think they just used the same file and changed the Lappy design to the Corpy one (hence why it uses the same scroll menu). They probably don't count on people having the seek bar when they do that. That could also mean it's temporary I suppose. *shrug*

I give it a 4/5. Good stuff. Good toon.

I liked it. Entertaining without feeling forced.

In the opening scene when Strong Bad says, "Strong Sad had this imaginary friend that annoyed the crud outta me," do you think it's SB being hypocritical, or do you think he's deliberately saying "crud" to tease Henry Wisner? It seems to me that either one would be in character for him...

It's nice to see Strong Bad getting back to checking e-mails, though I think TBC are kinda rusty at this...

The bit with the other character's imaginary friends was interesting, though I don't know about anyone else, but Coach Z's gave me the jibblies... (Or maybe it's just me...)

Anyway, I also really liked the "confrontation" between Strong Bad and Strong Sad's imaginary friends (and we see where Trogdor may have originated from...)

Above all, a good solid e-mail.

4.5/5

He always does something like that to tease the writer of the email, even if it's later in the email. Ex. when the nationality of the writer is clear, he'll usually adapt some common lingo, like if it was Australian, he'd say bonzor or something. He also often does the same intentional spelling/grammar error in his email somewhere.

This instantly goes into my top 10 list of best sbemails. It had everything, a new computer, new paper, even a Trogdor cameo. And I'm still rolling on the floor laughing at pubescent Strong Mad.

With Tim Hortons opening their new stores in NYC, this really is the best Monday ever!

The only two weirdx things here are:

A) Lil Strong Sad's voice
B) The fact that my little brother likes to tape himself to the ceiling in any story I make up. OO;;

But other than that, YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

:cheat: :cheat: :cheat: :cheat: :cheat: / :cheat: :cheat: :cheat: :cheat: :cheat:

What I thought was alot more interesting was the laces on his mask were replaced with velcro

I thought the velcro thing was funny and cute, too.

I never had an imaginary friend because my (real) best friend's imaginary friend was just a giant Minnie Mouse. So I thought that was lame and never made one up for myself. XD

Also I like Scotty Titi's hat. :O

THIS.

Even if you didn't find this particularly funny (I give it a 3.75), you still have to respect its originality. TBC have found a solution for both the anti-sbemailers and the diehard Deleteheads - keep doing sbemails, but stop using the exact same formula every time. It's a perfect compromise, and I'll be glad to go along with it.

Teenage Strong Mad is just brilliant. Actually, this whole email was rather funny. Younger versions of characters always seem cool to me. Hope to see more of the others in future.
But yeah, funny as.

Hey, the structure of the e-mail doesn't matter - there have been some good e-mails that follow that format, but content is everything, and I am sure that this e-mail would have been just as funny if it had been "ways of getting rid of annoying brothers' friends".

I loved it, but I'm a major sucker for flashbacks.

Strong Bad's velcro straps = the best ever.

It's possible, but I doubt it. I think it would have felt pretty stale.

Forgotten "unnatural" already? And "more armies"? What about "cliffhangers" and "retirement"?

Oh THAT'S what that was. I noticed it, but it confused me a bit. I was more attentive about the band-aids over Lil Strong Sad's "belly button." And yeah, looking back I was more thrilled that the sbemails were back than I was about the email itself. But I like how they were kids for the whole thing, and yes, Teen Graw Mad was funny.

Mentioning Emails released over a year ago doesn't appear relevant. Also, "more armies" sticks closely to that routine, except other characters join in.

They're all SBEmails, unless you're exclusively referring to the more recent ones, in which case I suppose my argument isn't relevant. It helps if you specify further. And I don't really think that the routine really applies to "more armies", unless you were referring to the lack of a linear storyline.

Hey, anyone notice how this week's e-mail and last week's QotW both reference the highschool e-mail?

Sbemails were gone for almost a year, LOL. They're practically ALL over a year old.
