we may be big fans of the paper now, but by the time it gets to 173 (2 years away) we'll most likely all be sick of it.

Yeah I agree with whoever said this on the first page, it's gonna be like Dangeresque 3... the Brothers Chaps won't put it in until they get all those emails from fans. It's a tough job for them to keep track of all that stuff. (They still haven't done Dangeresque 3 in 3D.)

Would be funny is Strong Bad breaks the old printer somehow, and that's why he has to get a new one. Like with all his comuters.

I would think Strong Bad would acknowledge it. If it says it in the montage, it's most likely going to happen. If Matt and Mike forget about it, they would be getting e-mails upon e-mails of people asking about the printer. So they're going to do it somehow.

Yea, they're totally gonna do SOMETHING. Who knows, he might even get a new printer AND computer, through some freak accident where one destroys both somehow, or something. He'll be just about due around then.

Anyways, there's alot better chance of them Acknowledging the printer than acknowledging 2 years, since 2 years was simply a Strong Bad prediction, which could easily be wrong, wheras the printer wasn't so much a prediction as a retrospective fact by an unseen historian, or something. We even got a specific email number for the printer's demise.

If it said 'replaced in 2007', then it wouldn't be certain. But with an email number, oh yea. Something's gonna happen.

I don't think the Lappy will die until at LEAST email 230. Probably farther down the line. WHat would his next computer be?

Ha ha, now that's funny. TBC should use that joke when and if they have Strong Bad upgrade his printer. (I know they probably won't use that joke, but that'd be great if they did.)

Let's see... I'd say the new paper wouldn't be mentioned 'till the end of that week's email. The New Paper would be The Old Paper's personality, or even The Old Paper herself (got that right?). Just on different kind of paper, maybe even different font.

All I would say is that you may want to pay attention to the usage of the past tense verbs: "upgrade" and "stick", leading me and some other people to believe that this may not actually happen. Despite TBC being very self-referential, I believe that the "prediction" (or whatever you want to call it) will not actually take place at all.

They will probably eventually replace the paper so it does not get mononteonoius.... yeah, i dont know how to spell it.

But I'm not so sure they'll actually wait until #173 to do it... they may wait longer. The mention in the e-mail really doesn't mean anything. As someone mentioned, 2 years.... 2 years later... did not have any changes come to pass. It was just a joke in an e-mail. This probably is too. I'm just saying that TBC will more than likely EVENTUALLY replace the paper just to keep things different.

But don't count on it being #173. Then again, TBC might do it just for the fans. Who knows!

I like the paper as is, an inkjet printer would just look too "normal." Once printed out. A white piece of paper with regular font. Blah. Gimme good ol paper any day.

TBC will have an inkjet color printer because people will start emailing them when they get to email 169 or 170. If they don't, they will make an email on why he does not have a color printer.

They haven't done Dangeresque 3, which has been delayed for one and a half years. 2 years was just a joke, none of that stuff was for real. I really hope Strong Bad gets an inkjet printer at email 173, because he's had three computers, and he kept the same printer.

do you really think that strongbad will get an inkjet printer (email 117)?

I think that the paper will come down will a message something like "Hey strongbad, like the new look?" and strongbad will say something like "woah, the paper, loouking good!" and from then on the paper will just look different but still say click here to email strongbad
