I know he said chicken wings. But even if he DID say that, it wouldn't be possible.

Actually, I love them all! And who is to decide what is "bad" and what is "good"? Your claims are completely subjective, for you did not offer any evidence.

And please don't insult everybody's taste. It's rude.

There was not a single insult within that statement.

You said that people "just love all the bad ones and absolutely hate all the good ones". As I said, that is a blatant "insult to everybody's taste". If you didn't mean to insult us, you should have phrased your statment in such a manner that wasn't so... well, insulting.

To get back on topic, I live in the South. People pronouce "i" as "a" all the time. For example, "king" becomes "kang", "thing" becomes "thang", and "wing" becomes "wang". It's just a cultural thang.

Darn!

I was waiting all day yesterday for the email to come out and then today, even when it did come out, I got 404'd! I went to the wiki to see if everybody was having this problem and the first thing I see when I go to "unnatural" is the subject: "Bubs is 100 ft. tall. What are the other characters to do?" and I was like WHAT?!?!? Then I opened up Safari and it took 3 and a half full minutes to load.

As for the email...

No, no. That's 'e'. You're not the only one. My personal favorite is e^(sqrt(-1)*pi), which is -1. Thus three of the most enigmatic quantities combine to make a rather mundane One (pun intended) -- making reality *possibly* stranger than Homsar.

Watch out now Tennessee. We T-ay-xans made him, but we weren't the only red state if I recall (and the options weren't all that grand to begin with). As for a tie-in slogan for the thread at hand: perhaps "Bubsgonzola for president"?

Hail teh Bubsgonzola!

And we SHOULD look forward to a head-to-head between teh Bubsgonzola and teh Trogdor. The winner can take the presidency.

Wooah. That's cool. But wouldn't it be easier just to say "i?" Just a thought.

Major toastpaints.

It would, but then it wouldn't look like such a strange number. And isn't that the whole point of e^(sqrt(-1)*pi)? You couldn't be a maths geek and go around saying "Maths is #1." You have to say, "Maths is #-e^(sqrt(-1)*pi)".

This is one that took me a wqhile to completely see how great it is. When I first watched it I thought "Oh, this is kinda cool but it's not very good."

Then the entire next day I couldn't stop singing about King Bubsgonzola (SUPREME) so when I watched it again and it just clicked and I loved it.

Once again, TBC show their awesome knowledge towards anime.

It's because if a difference of how it's measured...
Specifically, the roars are Bubs's line, slowed down so it takes 200% longer to play. This is equivalent to reducing the speed by 67%. (It seems weird when you say it like that, but the first is saying "3× as long" and the second is saying "1/3 the speed").

To confirm this, you'd take the roars, and speed them up such that it takes 67% less time, or 200% more speed. Since audacity's "Change Speed" filter asks for a percentage change in the speed, you should type "200" in the magic box, and the roars will suddenly sound like Bubs saying "chicken wings!"
If you wanted to slow Bubs saying "chicken wings" down to match the roars, you'd type "-67" in the magic box.

Yay, maths!

Actually, the first roar is just, "Wing." I think the one Strong Sad plays is the full, "Don't eat my chicken wings!"

I think you're onto something with that. "Bubs: He's Always Awesome.™" ;)

I wonder who's more underrated: him or Marzipan? Erm, I'll save you all the toastpaint.

I've been thinking: Is there some kind of program that lets you alter the speed and pitch by less than 100%? 'Cuz I got a sound recorder in my PC, but it only increases and decreases speed by 100% exactly.

Not anime, kaiju and tokusatsu! Giant monsters and special effects! Y'know, Godzilla, Ultraman, that sorta stuff?

Don't get me wrong, I like anime, but I'm also a self-admitted picker of nits. :p

Bubs, you make less sense everyday.

So my compy's broken and I haven't been to the website since strongbadlathon, I'm now using my dad's computer and I fund this awesomeness and weirdity along with the TGS #12.

Yeah, my typo. (Well, the music reminded me of anime.)

Did anyone notice that Coach Z was suggesting the picket fence? TBC must've watched Hosiers the previous night.

Well, they did grow Hosiers, so I wouldn't be too surprised.

Woo Hoo! This was an email I sent in!

I think it was last year I sent it in after one of the hurricane scares here where I live. Funny thing is that I could have sworn I signed it but I don't remember for sure. I've sent in 3 or 4 different emails over the years.

It's pretty cool though when you check out the latest email and suddenly you realize it was one you sent in!!

Bingo - who also could have sworn he's registered and even posted here a few times

Heh, while I'm sure they do, I'm also willing to bet they put aside emails they think have promise. Otherwise whenever they wanted to do a new email cartoon they would have to hope there is a great idea sitting in their inbox. :)

Plus I also very specifically remember writing them and using that specific phrasing in the hopes of catching attention.
