I really doubt Strong Bad will answer an email that is obviously about DNA evidence. That's not how he does things (or, more accurately, how TBC do things). However, I'm sure it's leading up to something. I really doubt TBC would just overuse a good joke for no reason. They can think up all kinds of great new jokes. It would disappoint a lot of fans if it turned out to be nothing.

It's just a funny running gag that originally stemmed off the joke over the coarse of two emails (164 & 165) that Strong Bad tampered with the DNA evidence that showed that Homestar and Homsar are related.

But they never mentioned Homestar and Homsar in relation to the DNA evidence. It could be evidence of anything.

It's too random to be leading to anything. TBC just put it in one email, decided to put it in another, and then before long it became a running gag. I'm sure they don't even know where to go with it.

It's not in the nature of how they write to be anything but a silly running gag.

I think that they just put it in to see what crazy crap we think of next. It gets funnier everytime (to me it seems that homestar just said it because it was expected to keep getting mentioned). Someone mentioned it might be an april fool's day joke - did they even do anything for that day? I don't think I checked the site 'cause it was palm sunday or something like that.

Anyway, I think the hype over 173 is overrated, don't think anything special's gonna happen...and if it does then um feel free to point and laugh at me :mrgreen:
