hmmm...it's a three way tie for me between: Flashback, Haircut and...nope nope, make that just REGULAR tie.
Yeah so I didn't like either one of those. I won't say that they sucked or weren't funny because maybe they made other people laugh...but not me, just kinda...wasted my time.

that's all...thanks.

putting aside some of the early ones, I'd have to go with "funny", because it's anything but funny. it's the kind of "humor" that you don't usually see on h*r, the kind that tries way too hard and fails.

Indeed. I don't understand why some people think For Kids is so great. (Then again, I also can't understand why some people think Flashback is so bad. People just have different senses of humour, I guess.)

well...H*R is always trying to appeal to different parts of a large audiance...some SBemails are imensely funny to some, but not to others (I'd have to say that Car especially and some of the others mentioned earlier just didn't really hit at the main body of their audiance). Personally I never minded the old ones, I simply looked on them as the beginning of a development process (no doubt aided by the increasing amount of email sent as the series picked up steam). I must say, however, that I consider many of the post-100 emails weak compared to their older brethren (In fact, until 105 I was beginning to think that the series might be slowing towards an inevitable end).

On the subject of the other least favs mentioned:

Funny: never particularly liked it personally, but it was one that appealed to a very specificly tuned sense of humor

Current Status: definetly weak. I have to agree that there would have been funnier ways to do this email whilst maintaining the Zubs/Coach B project gag

Cheatday: cute, but they've done far better ones. And I too would have expected better email insults out of The Cheat (even the sorta insult Homestar used answering one of the emails in SBemail50 was better [of course, the amount that that one was out of character certainly helped])

Theme Party: didn't consider it as weak as most on this list, although there definetly have been better ones

Monument: I'll agree with Upsilon here...that was forced. Its one of the few times I've ever seen an easter egg (Technochocolate) that weak still end up stronger than the email it came from

3 Wishes: one of the few emails I've been able to sit through without even smiling once...never found any humor in it

I'm not gonna write a bunch of paragraphs about a bunch of seperate emails, but I think that the consensus here it that everyone prefers the compy emails rather than the olda ones, and I'll hitch a ride on that bandwagon.

I'd say Cheatday is the worst in a while

I'd have to go back and check some of the Tandy SBE's, because they dont intrest me as much so I dont watch them as often.

Its hard to pick a "worst one ever" kinda thing, because they each have their own thing (i.e; Ilko in Cheatday)

Not sure why the peeps dont like "Funny", the whole (for lack of better explanation) POH REER, POH REER - SB hopping on his head- thing is the best!

Somone mentioned Flashback as being the worst, sure it was a minute (pronouced my-noot) 100th email celebration, but the Limozeen and S. Cardgage eggs were the best eggs ever.

Tape-Leg : Good ... gravy. I got two words to the writer of that crap: STUPID IDEA. NOT FUNNY AT ALL. NO HUMOR WHATSOEVER. I GUESS THIS WAS MORE THAN TWO WORDS. THE POST BUTTON, PLEASE TAKE US HOME.

(i know this was a bunch of paragraphs, oh well.)

I'd have to say that Tape Leg was up to the standard of the time but dealing with an unusually weak email prompting. And only TBC could tell us if there were any better emails that week or not... (I expect, however, that there have been weeks when all the emails they get and have time to sift through are total crap, and this was certainly more likely early in the series)

For Kids was hilarious...at least when Strong Bad tried to do the kids show...the part with Homsar was just stupid...

omg i think funny and monument are just hilarious....i dunno i guess i just like the sense of humor thats just completely spontaneous to the point of which most people say "its just not funny anymore, now its just stupid". mainly just the older ones arent that funny. just like spongebob squarepants. and i dont see why you dont like flashback.....

Tape Leg isn't funny. At all. There's nothing good in that one.

I'm sure that, at the time, it probably was funny, but the email "Homsar" is, in my opinion, the crappiest piece of crap known to crapdom. It wasn't very long and just didn't make sense... Thank God they've gotten better (probably as they developed their skills as animators)

i think that of all the emails that have ever been put up, that the worse ones would have to be the 'theme party' email, and the 'properties of ones' email, but 'theme perty would definately have to be the worst yet

You kind of have to take the early ones in perspective, though. No easter eggs, just a joke or maybe a cut scene or something. The whole SBEmail idea was still kind of getting fleshed out during those early ones. They're good for nostalgia purposes, and I'm sure when they originally came out they were great because they were new, and also because people didn't expect 3 minute long emails with a bunch of easter eggs. It was just a funny short little cartoon, like something you would have found on Newgrounds or ABS at the time. H*R really upped the ante on making Flash cartoons, if you think about it.

If I had to pick a worst one, I'd say wierd dream. I just didn't find it funny....I really like for kids, though. But then again, I watch my 4-year old brother a lot so I got most of the kiddie show references.

I liked Weird Dream. It pretty much summed up my opinion of one particular state ("How's it hanging, Texas?")

The first SB email SUCKS!

Also, tape leg.

"Homsar" wasn't so bad. Instead of making cracks about the spelling error, they made a completly new character.

"For Kids" also isn't bad. Maybe the Homsar part sucked, but Strong Bad's attempt was really funny.

The worse email is "Property of one." That's the only one I've only seen once because it is so stupid!!!

Car sucks because it's too off topic, then :sb: answers the email 3 seconds before it ends. I never find people getting hurt funny IMHO.

BTW: Just so you know, ALL British people that I know are stuck up.

10. I Sort of agree, but it's not THAT bad
9. I disagree, I thought that one was great.
8. Havn't seen it in a long time, so no comment.
7. I agree. This One sucked major.
6. o_O!??!?! I loved this one, if only for his pronouncing of fqhwgads.
5. I loved this one because of the originality of it's single joke. I mean, with this one, TBC coulda gone 2 ways: have SB make fun of the spelling, or find another totally original way of answering the e-mail. They chose the latter.
4. I liked this one, because it's MEANT to try way too hard to be funny.
3. This one was terrible.
2. I didn't like this one either.
1. I loved this one, because of the way strong bad just drifts from one thing to another.[/i]
