That was cool, but some-the-times a bit hard on my computewbox.

Best parts:

TINY BREADS
Disappointed Teh C. with the guillotine
The regenerating, wonderfully loony and disgusting
And, my favorite: The head and the body being right next to each other. What a perfect "screw-all-y'all-audience" moment.

I wonder what Jenny thinks about this emau].

Jennay......

Jennay......

It was a bit "meh" some of the time, but the reference to the combine from HL2 was funny, 7/10.

Hmmm... not bad. I think the pacing was solid, and I do agree with a lot of the folks here that it was more weird than funny. The style was similar to "montage" or "animal", and both were middle of the road toons for me.

However, a few of you had the insight to mention that the cartoon was actually in the same style as the Tandy e-mails. This got me to look at the oldies again, and I have to agree! It's been a very long time that Strong Bad's answered a truly befuddling e-mail, so I do appreciate the change of pace.

My rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Times viewed thus far: 3

I thought it was your average "very good" E-mail distinguished by being about the TRIPPIEST one ever. The two 'perfectly formed Strong Bad specimens' moment followed immediately by the Cheat with guillotine in particular was just.... wow. I can only imagine the conversations TBC were having while that was in the works. Pretty entertaining overall. B+

On another note, I personally think it's a stretch to call main page 7 the debut of Head Bad and Strong Body just because SB's head happened to fall off, but that's just me.

Man, I don't get how y'all can be so down on this email. To date there have only been three that truly made me laugh in that way you do even when you're by yourself: Hairstyle, Animal, and this one.

Head Bad flyin' around was hilarious, especially the noise made by the little thing he used before the engine. The phrase "I could put my consideably reduced weight on it" cracked me up.

I think what made this one hilarious was that TBC got an idea that SB could really run with without it seeming forced just for the sake of being funny. This was just a great email to start with and they definitely used it well. I say a 9.5/10 and it's in my top 5.

I thought their ideas were pretty good, but Ideas don't make good emails. There wasn't really any funny stuff.

I like it best out of the new ones, but it goes by a little fast, action-wise...

No, he's used his thumbs before. Check the email Pizzaz. There have been a few other instances, I just can't remember all of them.

It was okay. Best part was The Cheat with the guillotine. For some reason in the part with the Poopsmith, he reminded me of an uruk-hai, what with the shield that has a white symbol painted on it and all. I dunno.

The Cheat with the guillotine was the best part. The rest was pretty funny too. No where near the best though.

Meh. I've seen better ones before. I liked when The Cheat was with the guillotine though. But one more email closer to 150!

6/10

You people have gotten WAY too picky about H*R. This is easily as good as the previous emails.

Heh. I dunno about it being as good as previous sbemails. I watched some of the older ones from the Compy era and then this one and I have to say... this one is obviously lacking in comparison to greats like theme park, kids book, video games, dragon, etc. etc.

Part of the problem is that a lot of the best questions have already been asked, ya know? I mean, can you guys think of something that would give TBC (ahem) Strong Bad, some really good source material? This crazy question might have been the best question anyone really asked TBC this past week or whenever it was that it was sent to them. lol.

No, I don't think that TBC has jumped the shark, but I do think that a really good question hasn't been asked in sometime. Without a good question for source material, it sure does make it a lot harder to come up with a good e-mail (ahem again) sbemail... you know.

And guys. I don't know WHAT sbemail #150 is gonna look like, but don't get your hopes up too much. Hype will kill anything. Don't get TOO excited... because when it gets here and it's not (possibly) just the best sbemail ever... I can already see the posts of how #150 was a let down. I'm not expecting anything as cool as the #100... and especially nothing as crazy and unexpected as Virus. But I secretly hope it's something that good. ;)

I'm not sure about that, Ironhide. In and of itself, an email that says "Can you draw a dragon" doesn't necessarily translate into a great response. I can think of at least a dozen different ways that question could have been replied to poorly.

Personally, though, I did like the email. It was as if the Brothers Chaps had been sitting around thinking, "You know, we haven't really tried to answer a truly nonsensical e-mail since the Tandy days. Let's give this one a go and see where it takes us."

But seriously, as I said before, it was good. Not the best, but we can't get a perfect email every week. For every caffeine there must be a tape-leg.

I actually thought this was one of the better SBemails. I'm kinda goofy right now, so that might have something to do with it...But still!

Ditto once again.

If they do decide to do something special for #150, I'm sure it's gonna be great. (a la the past email specials: 50 emails, flashback, possibly rock opera) If they don't... we're gonna get a lot of "Wasn't nearly awesome enough" and "Total letdown" posts.

Another one where I don't know what to think. It started out really good, you know, like always strong bad takes a bizarre question and turns something decent out of it. But i thought this particualr email compeltely jumped the bearshark when the head started flying around. Random million meter dash, eh? That sort of silly nonscence is what I would expect from a cheattoon, not a real email. The ending was unremarkable too, although the guillituine cracked me up.

A'right. I have to ask. Who is Jenny?

I keep on thinking of the Jenny in my av, but judging by what people are saying, I'm totally wrong.

[Great. Now people are gonna reply talking about what a crappy show MLAATR is. *sigh*]
