I'd apologize if I was sorry.

But I'm not.

Um.

*is totally NOT drawing Strong Bad wearing a tiara right now* Nope. No... tiara. Um.

The Easter Egg is a reference to Television Without Pity, specifically the epidemic of "panty-poofing" in the Rockstar INXS thread last fall. The thread became quite toxic and gummy and was actually deleted.

Space Program is meh. The first part (the slideshow) is pretty good IMO, but a lot of people thought it dragged on far too long. And the second part was simply pathetic. It was like little kids playing pretend in their backyard. Not that that is a bad thing, but it does NOT suit Strong Bad. (Sure, he's done it with local news and a few other things, but this was over-the-top.) And although this isn't a big deal, Homestar's line "I knew I should have asked the Italian space program" seemed really forced to me. They were just trying to revive a joke from earlier in the email, Fairly Odd Parents style.

But on-topic...

This email freaked me out. It was so ... utterly bizarre. It seemed like it was made by different people or something. But I digress, it was still pretty amusing. Not last place.

The most disappointing thing aboug "Space Program" is that Strong Bad bought a Space Ship with Homestar's credit card in the email "Credit Card"....where was it???

First post evah, so you'll excuse the lack of profile information or flashy sigs. Those come later. :bubs:

I think perhaps the Brothers Chap took a page from another comic duo, i.e. Matt and Trey from "South Park". Think about it... M & T pull tricks on their viewers when they do highly-expected episodes... the episode where Cartman's father was supposed to be revealed, the episode featuring Lemmiwinks, and recently, the resolution to "Cartoon Wars", although the last one was actually a double-prank (they said it had been canceled and "Terrence and Phillip & the Mystery of Lazy J Ranch", then doubled back and revealed that the Terrence & Phillip show was actually part of the "Cartoon Wars" :trogdor:tory as planned.

So we have a "King of Town" cartoon that gets canceled and replaced with a Sbemail, "already in progress". Sounds like a nod to "South Park" to me. Maybe I'm just crazy.

That email ruled! Although I was kind of hoping to see the King of Town's show!

Was that really the Poopsmith talking? It's just that when everyone looks at him, he shakes his head and shrugs, which may suggest it wasn't him, and he doesn't know who he was.

That was hillarious. The pants thing was funny, but I didn't get the whole "Pom Pom wasn't at the prom" thing. Wasn't he in the band?

That was great.

David Cop-a-Feel.. Brilliant!

Pom Pom wasn't in the band, only four the king's servants were (The Poopsmith, Blacksmith, Knight and Hornblower).

Pom Pom was at a much cooler place. Because he's too cool to go to a prom with a silent vocalist and mouthwash-tainted punch. :pom: :p

I was kind of disappointed that Pom-Pom wasn't at the prom (though the excuse given for why he wasn't there made perfect sense), but they totally made up for it by including him in the Easter egg. Poor Pom-Pom, he's so neglected... the guy needs all the screen time he can get, I say. ;)

And why would anyone complain about the Coppafeel joke? I thought it was freaking hilarious, and it's not like there's never been suggestive jokes on the site before... um, on second thought, toastpaint. Don't want this turn into a debate or anything >_>

I'm actually debating this on the Talk Page on the Wiki XD I insist that it's a reference to the Terrance and Phillip episode they put in between the two parter about Cartman's mom and the thing on Cartoon Wars (ESPECIALLY), but others say it's more of a reference to Butters's Very Own Episode just because the songs sound similar, which is far too vague.

However, the Brothers Chaps have said they didn't watch South Park after the first season or so, haven't they? The Terrance/Phillip episode WAS an early episode (although not in the first season, to be fair) so I think it's STRENGTHENING TO MY CASE. Hohh yes.

That one was good. Not bad, not excellent, just good.
The very beginning of the email had me chuckling and the "Oh yeah" part was good too. And for some reason, I really liked Homestar's crown.
It was a pretty solid email.

I must be the only one who didn't find "Oh yeaaah!" funny. It was just way too outta left field for me. No precedent whatsoever.

I think it was mediocre. It could have used some wasabi. The poopsmith speakin was hilarious. Now we gotta see if marzipan starts rockin, Strong sad has horns and a tail, homestar quits, pom pom looks like a basket ball, bubs sells flamethrowers shooting chocolate hundred dollar bills, the poopsmith getting pea buried alive, and anything else I didn't say. Bug in mouth disease was better.

 I found the blue oooooooones!!!!

That never gets old

Oh come on. If you say you didn't get a teeny bit exited when it said the KOTs very own toon, you are a liar. And I also agree with this one stinking. Although I did like the Go! button. New avatar'd? Maybes.

Well, I guess the theme song was catchy... :p I had to watch it again when Strong Bad was making fake voicemail because I didn't get what was going on, but The Cheat's expression was priceless. Another funny part was Homestar making Pom Pom sounds by gargling Listerine. I gotta try that sometime.

I was waiting for your response! :p For the record, I'm actually a huge fan of creative interpretations of the relationships of certain characters.

And I can't wait to see that drawing. ;)

My actual prom is coming up. I guess the moral of this email is that if you want to succeed in life, leave the pants at the cleaners.

My Senor Prom SUCKED. The best part was the Eiffel Tower falling over. The music was all R&B, rap and hip-hop, which are my least favorite genres. Once in a while they would play some rock, and all the people with good taste in music would totally freak out and start head-banging, but other than that, the music was terrible. However, it did give me an excuse to put on the Ritz (i.e., a Humphty Bogart-esque tux).

That was a really great .... really incredible toon. I was like, a KOT toon eh? I thought everyone hated the KOT. lol. Then it switched over to what LOOKED like a sbemail, but I thought it was just part of a toon... and then I was like, wait, is THIS a sbemail? And then it was and ... lol...

GOT MEEEEEE!!! OH TBC YOU TWIXTERS YOU!

I liked the reintroduction of the king's servant guys or whatever, and the blacksmith strongbad claimed was a cool guy. It took me one or two tries to figure out the easter egg was the begining of the sbemail. lol.

Man, that one was classic. And it felt classic too. Feels like about 100 sbemails ago for some reason, I agree.

9.5/10

A King of Town toon would me new and different, as TBC haven't made one since way, way back, and the kingy and the H*R world has changed tons since then.
:kot:

I'm sureTBC could make the creepy old man be entertaining.

I thought that was pretty awexome.

THE POOPSMITH SPEAKETH. If you ask me, THAT could've been the Jump the Shark moment, nunna this "risqué" crap. They said the same thing about Commandos in the Classroom!

That ruled. And think about it..... the KOT's men were ALL at the prom! Poor Kingy must've been left doing his cartoon all by himself. Nobody likes him.... incredible.

Hmm, that was definately a great email. I thought it was actually going to be a toon, but had to figure that the KoT couldn't get another toon all to himself!!

:poop:

Ya, I did like this one. But now is belive :sb: is a hypocryte cuz he said that he didnt wear underwear in New Boots, but now he wears underwear that has lip prints on them. But overall it kinda confused me, cuz senior proms are in HIGHSCHOOL, but they look different than they did in email 140. Also, its not in the toon section, it's in the sbemail list. It was a joke. Good jorb TBC. "I will pay my dues when I get my tusks" "Koo-Koo-Kachoo or summat" That's from "I am the walrus" by the Beatles.
I think he gave up "underwears" after this flashback crashing, making him no hypocrite.
