Homestar Hair. I She Be comes in second. I pretty much like the rest of them.

I think all the emails that don't have a cut scene are pretty dumb. Those and cheatday and island.

i think that my new worst email, would definately have to be the 'old comics email', aside from the west islip and the strong mad easter egg, that was the worst email ever done so far

Most of the Tandy 400 ones aren't too great..I'm also not a fan of Pom Pom or Car.

I'd have to go with 'making out' and 'i she be'.

I have to say, in defense of "old comics," that it's like "guitar" and, to a certain extent, "japanese cartoon": it relies on one being familiar with what it's making fun of. The whole 1936 world is about the same thing: that "funny" back then just wasn't funny, the way we understand funny. Get hold of some pre-1950s funny papers and you'll see what I mean! (That said, it wasn't an email that had me rolling on the floor. But that's okay--they don't all have to be blockbusters. If I had to choose between having an email that at least made me smile to myself and not having it exist at all, I'd choose the first.

Though it's not to say that all pre-1950s newspaper comics were horrible. If any of you ever get the chance, get your hands on the original Little Nemo comics. Those things are mindblowing.

And I haven't really seen much of it, but I get the impression that Krazy Kat was awesome. Bill Watterson (Calvin & Hobbes) thinks so, anyway.

Krazy Kat is extremely bizarre and, in comparison to most of the other comics of that time, completely awesome.

It's an old comic. What can you do? Other than lop off the part of my post that tied it in to the subject at hand. Or rather, what myself and notstrongorbad had brought up.

But anyway, worst email, Homestar Hair. There.

I never liked "crying". I didn't find the concept funny, and the email just beat the joke to death.

What they said. The easter egg with Lil' Brudder falling down wasn't that bad, though.

Yeah, that one sucked. But my least favorite one was 'Old Comics'.

I really did not like one of them but I can't remember it's name or what it was about. Point proven.

Now I remember which one it was. It was 'i rule'. Sorry for people who did like it more than I did.
Even though it was the debut of Strong Badia, I still distolerated it.

"Weird Dream" was an odd one. Although, Homestar Hair was pretty blah. The old SB emails weren't as good. TBC have really improved!

I must say Morning Routine (Though for those who have played Chrono Trigger for the SNES will enjoy the "...chrono trigger. Chrono. Chrono Trigger" line.)
It didn't make me chuckle one bit. Seeing Strong Sad in an Inner Tube made me smile though.

I'll, like many others, excuse some of the earlier e-mails due to lack of experience but come on! Homestar Hair was the most pathetic thing I'd ever seen! It's saving grace is that one bit with a crudely drawn Strong Bad playing Temple of Apshai (one of my faves). I don't think the email was even barely 90 seconds long. Strong Bad's sure come a long way from that crap, hasn't he?

outta the tandy ones, i'd say brianrietta. then maybe butt iq.

outta the compy, i'd say coutch patch. then probably current status.

I didn't like:
-butt IQ (what's really stupid is this email, they should at least made the bad graphics Homestar something to activate an easter egg)
-the basics (the meaning of the email is vague)
-tape-leg (it's obvious)
-no loafing (it was boring, and by the time Strong Bad was putting up the signs, I was like "Man, it feels like this email took hours with no funny stuff)
-old comics (Strong Bad gets off topic immediately)

So those are the bad emails in my perspective.

Car: Plain silly. Weren't even trying to be creative.
Current Status: Silly idea, but it did save SB from the cold hard truth about his status with the non-existent ladies.
Lackey: The part up until the cantalopue was good.
Funny: Not so funny... It was the forced funny that made it unfunny.

Most of the others aren't that bad. The old ones I can deal with being not so good, because there obviously wasn't an overly huge fanbase in the days of the Tandy. Cheatday was alright I thought, and For Kids was hilarious (I kinda like Homsar) and Stave It Off... haha.

It was near the end that it came. Anyway, that e-mail was one of the best ever IMHO

Extra plug or virus. Extra plug was just thrown together, and virus was just plain creepy.

I liked car! I liked when Homestar got punched and started talking about his many pies.
